Would it be possible to just have a dragon/other animal charcater? Or do you need to also have a human character?

though having just a dragon isnt necessary against the rules, i do not recommend it as the roleplay is heavily based on the village plot-wise.

as for other characters, i prefer you only play humanoid or dragon characters and if they have any pets, as a side character. since this is a dragon x rider roleplay this will avoid it from becoming a multi species roleplay.

ＨＩＳＴＯＲＹ

Lilith was hatched in a small pack of five dragons, three of which she was related to. A few years, around five, after she was born, the group, besides her, was severely injured by a large mob of Gryphons. Three of the pack died, leaving her and her father, who was still fatally wounded, alone and confused. Lilith did her best, hunting and trying to stop the bleeding, but to no avail. He died merely a day after being attacked, and then there was only Lilith. With her survival skills alone, she managed to survive another 25 years in the wilds. When she hit 30, she found a village and became attached to a small girl by the name of Coriannder.

She was Coriannder's first dragon and would be her last. Eventually, Coriannder had a daughter with a young man named Eric, and neglected Lilith for a while. She would still go out with her time to time, but her love was focused on her daughter. Lilith was a bit bitter about this, but grew to like the young child. When she came of age, Lilith eventually became Adelynn's dragon and the rest is history.

Nico was born and raised in the village, alongside his sister. He enjoyed life, and was always happy and smiling, preferring to chase butterflies over training or learning. When he was 7, his father taught him in the art of battle, and he became quite skilled in an offensive position. When Nico was 10 years of age, merely days before his 11th birthday, there was an attack on his families home, as his father was terribly in debt after dealing with black magic. He tried to fight as his sister and parents were killed, but was struck down by a painful slash to his back, resulting in an ugly scar. Nico became hard, and careless soon after, as his neighbors believed he was bad luck and left him cold and alone. Nico lived on his own for awhile, eventually earning the loyalty of a large black direwolf he calls Raven. Nico eventually came back to the village, his eyes as dark as his mind, and was made a guards apprentice. Nico has always disliked dragons, as one gave him his scar, and he views them as greedy cowards, hiding behind their claws
