Nicknames (if any): He is often called Gene (Pronounced Jeen) by close friends, but is referred to as Geney (Pronounced Jeen-ee) by her younger sibling.
Gender: Male. Responds to He/Him and They/Them pronouns.

Blood Type (pureblood, mixblood, etc.): Born Pureblood.

Appearance
Height: He stands at 6'0".
Build: Despite his lack of exercise, he is surprisingly able to maintain a slender build.. But he lacks bit on the strength side.
Skin Type: Genesis has been fairly pale for most of his life.
Hair Colour and Style: His raven, shoulder-length sleek hair is often kept in a small ponytail or bun, revealing the shaved sides of his head. When he's feeling lazy, he'll leave it down as if flops to one side.
Eye Shape and Colour: Gene's almond shaped eyes have a coffee colored tone to them. Depending on the lighting, they'll shift to a lighter or darker color.
Scars, Tattoos, and/or Birthmarks: He has a diminutive scar on her left cheek from a recent dog attack. Despite that, he also has a standard lobe piercing on both ears and an industrial on the right. Genesis also has a snakebite piercing, but is rarely seen with it.

Digging Deeper
Personality: At first glance, Gene appears to a be a reserved troublemaker who has too much time on his hands.. But that's an easy misjudgment. He's often found in the wrong place at the wrong time, giving him this image. Genesis does think highly of himself, which can lead him to be arrogant at times.. But is unintentional. His ambitious trait beckons him to succeed in his classes,
in which he does.. Except for one. He could also be described as an "Outgoing Introvert," he is able to speak infront of classmates with no issues, but does enjoy having moments to himself just to relax and recharge. Above all these traits, Genesis is protective of his few friends and younger sister.. Sometimes too overprotective when it comes to his beloved sibling.
Likes: Genesis enjoys roaming the forests surrounding Hogwarts; at times, he'll even sneak out at night just to visit them. Besides that, he is often seen snacking on something small throughout random times of the day. He can also be found looking through the history books in the library or seen studying alongside his sister, often helping her. Something he doesn't share is his passion for music, as he's mastered how to play the piano and violin.
Dislikes: He isn't the biggest fan when it comes to confrontations.. Or spiders. Loud noises often startle him, especially storms. Despite his unknown arrogant trait, he actually despises arrogance coming from others.
Fears: The last thing he ever wants is to let his family down. Has a slight fear of pools, lakes, oceans.
History: Originally from Lake George, New York; Genesis and his sister, Sophia attended Ilvermorny under the houses of Wampus and Thunderbird and completed previous years there. Their father was recently transferred to London, England due to his job, leading the rest of his family to join him. From there, Genesis and Sophia were invited to attend Hogwarts, placed under the houses of Slytherin and Ravenclaw.

Hair Colour and Style: His dark, chocolate colored hair is often styles into a quiff.
Eye Shape and Colour: Jared's round, almost sleepy-like eyes are in an odd shade of gold.
Scars, Tattoos, and/or Birthmarks (if any): He has a pair of solid band-like tattoos on his right bicep.

Digging Deeper
Personality: Jared is a kind-hearted, yet laid-back teacher that still holds a sense of responsibility. Due to this being his first time teaching, he can be reckless.. But often laughs at his mistakes to keep from worrying others. He greets everyone with a friendly, charismatic smile and a heartfelt hand shake. Depending on the year of the student will depend on how he treats them. Normally, he welcomes a 1st year or transfer student with kindness and tries to make them feel more at home, whereas he'll expect more from a 7th year.
