West also hates everything about this. But he has internally weighed his options and decided this is the best route.

Actually hunting the males is a better idea because not only is it not killing the only thing that gives birth to knew prey but the males generally don't fight back they only run. Have you ever watched a cheetah chase her prey? Her prey doesn't fight back, he runs.
Also, Willow is welcome to talk to Etrianna about her options and stuff, but Etrianna is kinda fire so she might give her a bit of attitude, but maybe they could talk if you think that's a good idea?
Lastly, I don't really mind that Willow doesn't agree with my wolf, it happens c:

A wolf's prey is different than a cheetah's prey. Bucks tend to fight and fight hard, if they're healthy. They'll kill a wolf without hesitation. Does were made to run, bucks to protect the herd. Where a cheetah relies on speed, a wolf relies on stamina. They'll tire the animal out and then kill it. But they don't normally try for a buck unless it's wounded, sick, or something like that.

Yea I've seen wolves hunt, it's amazing but they rely on their stamina to keep up the hunt. For big prey example a buck it would take more than just one or two wolves. Most wolves surround their prey giving each one an opportunity to attack when there's a chance.

Yes, they also take many wolves with them to take down one buck. Okay, I don't wanna start an argument so let's leave it at this. I'm not about to be proven wrong cause everyone is entitled to their own options so I'm done.

@lioness;, rodeo runner, and scintillate
Yes, wolves rarely go for bucks unless they are injured
or sick. A cheetah's prey is also much smaller than a w
olfs is. A cheetahs prey is born to run, a buck is built t
o fight. They are very dangerous to wolves just as they
are dangerous to people. They can break jaws, bones a
nd even kill a wolf. They have a much more powerful k
ick than females. Wolves also do not just hunt based on
prey. Wolves pick out injured, sick and elderly prey wh
en they go after large prey. They do not take healthy f
emales, pregnant females or healthy calves. They will
take sick or weak calves though, but wolves naturally k
now that healthy females keep the herd healthy.

P.S. I am not arguing or anything, I study wolves and lea
rned animal behavior in school. I am just stating what I
have studied and other studies. Not trying to disprove yo
u at all.

Also, perhaps when Willow gets back from her journey w
ith west they can talk about her thoughts.
