Samuel is a fairy relaxed and easy going young man. He tries not to take things too seriously but he knows when it is time to be serious. He likes to have fun but isn't always as outgoing as other boys his age. Having learned from his older brother that its better to work and pay your own way rather than run around with kids and cause trouble. Even so Samuel still likes to hang out wit people from school sometimes.
History
Samuel was born to loving parents and had an older brother who always looked out for him, even when he didn't know it. He had a normal childhood to start with. However that changed when he woke one night to find his father, a man he loved and respected, beating his brother, whom he also loved and respected. His mother was crying and begging him to stop. Way this man really his father. No one mentioned it the next morning at breakfast o even at all. It wasn't until after their parents went to work did he dare to ask William about it. The answer was simply. He had been beaten for breaking a flower pot that Samuel had knocked over the day before. When asked why he didn't just tell the truth William smiled at him and said 'You're my little brother Sam. It's my job to look out for you and to protect you. Even from our own family.' From then on Samuel was always careful so that his brother wouldn't get hut because of his mistakes. However it seemed that their father always found something to punish him for. What was strange to Samuel was that William never fought back. Even as he grew older and started working at the auto shop, where he had gained strength and confidence, He never would strike their father until the day that he turned his aggression towards Samuel and their mother. That was both the first and last time.
No one at school or in town ever knew before then what had happened over the years. Samuel had grown up watching his bother take everything that their father could deal out and still hold his head up high and act like nothing was wrong. He never understood why until he was older. After their father was out of the picture Samuel too decided to go to work. He got a part time job as the local grocery store as a stoker and part time clerk. He understood the value of a days work and felt pride in doing so.
