Personality
Veries, depending on the mood he is in, basically when he wakes up. At times, he can be very hyper active, overly friendly and talkative, and enjoying of life and everything around him. Excited to be alive, with wonder in his eyes like that of a new born child, even with things he has seen his entire life. Other times, he can be overly depressed, just wanting to be alone. He will be full of self pitty, as if the entire world has just let him down. Either way, he will say things off colored, or bizarre, as if while having a conversation with himself, though will look at the other he is speaking to, waiting for a reply. He also seems to have illusions of grandeur, and seems to see things or speak of things others cannot see or understand.
History
Kamui was raised by his father after his mother left them four days after he was born, due to postpartum depression, which seemed to have pushed her over when Kamui's twin sister died within twelve hours of her birth. His mother had left in the middle of the day, while her husband was at work, leaving Kamui alone in the house, for eight hours until his father returned home, but luckily, he survived it.
Kamui grew up normally, for a while. At least in abnormal way, though he, himself, always seemed a bit odd. his fathwr just put off his "strange behavior" as someone with an over active imagination, that came due to him trying to understand growing up without a mom, when seeing those around him with one. His father worked in a hat shop, as a hatter, and Kamui often liked help him out with his, and also enjoyed wearing some of the hats he made as well, for fun. Everything seemed fine, until his father got ill when Kamui was only eight, from an unknown illness that the doctors could never figure out. Sadly, he passed away in the hospital within the year. Due to the unknown wereabouts of his mother, his father having grown up an orphan, and unable to locate any family, Kamui was put into the system.
Kamui was classified as a "special case", as he did not interact "normally" with other kids. He was often seen alone, just speaking with himself, and drinking a cup of tea. The adults would try to speak with him, but most of what he would say was hard to comprehend. After a while, he was placed into a foster home at age ten, where he ran into a very old friend again, Namaikina, who was thought of as just as much an "odd one as Kamui. It was also during this time that he meet Kaede, and started up a friendship with her as well. While the friendship at first seems to be an annoyance to Kaede, his persistence paid off after a while.
Now that time has passed, and Kamui has grown, he was accepted into the finishing school (or high school) that his only two friends (so far) had also been accepted into. He is not sure what to think of it, but does enjoy the fact that he will be able to spend time with his friends in the new school. Though, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
