A group of ten dogs, who were separated from their owners
due to a terrible blizzard, try to survive together in a wilderness.
They can't hunt or fight yet. They know nothing about the
surroundings. The only things which keep them alive are
tight bonds, trust and hope. Viera is a harsh world, being regularly
attacked by blizzards during winter. But this year, it was stronger
than ever...

Will the dogs pick the right choices ?

Nikan is a dog trusted by his pack-mates. At the first glance, he might seem stern and proud, but it isn't his real self. The brute doesn't
show his real perosnality to strangers, he wants them to see himself as a powerful alpha who knows what he's doing. But dogs from the
pack know that his strongest traits are intelligence and responsibility. Nikan's highest priority is the pack and his loved ones. He's
slightly over-protective, after losing his owner, the brute doesn't want the same to happen to his friends. He is distrustful and unforgiving.
Nik needs some time before he trusts someone and he never gives second chances. A lie is something he can't stand and in his opinion,
trust is the basement of a pack bond. Nikan is observant, it's better not to hide anything from him for too long, because he'll find out
eventually. The alpha is stubborn and determined, when he makes a decision, nothing and nobody can make him change his mind. He highly
dislikes being told what to do. Nikan treats the pack dogs as his family and would never be aggressive
towards them or boss anybody around. He's always ready to stand for weaker canines. Nik is a great friend, worth having. He will cheer
up and help any dog that needs it. The alpha is a good teacher and caretaker of pups, because he's patient and loving. Nikan is courageous
what sometimes makes him take risks that might be dangerous to himself. He could die for his loved ones. Around closest friends, Nikan is
humorous and positive. He doesn't feel good around pesimistic and cranky canines. He's a dog who tries to avoid conflicts, but Nik is ready to
show his fangs when neccessary.
To sum up, Nikan is a good leader, who treats his job seriously. Pack is his highest priority and he'd never let anybody take it away from him.

❝I see Duke as a great pack member that is protective and kind towards his

❝Astrid is a dog that I'd love to get to know better. We don't talk much yet, but

❝Sergeo is a very caring, kind and protective dog towards the pack. I'm glad he
is a part of the group, we also share few traits. But the thing that's making our
relation neutral is his desire to take my rank. I was considering promoting him

Short, smooth and silver grey colored coat. Ears and head are slightly lighter than the rest of the
body. She's an athletic and well-built dog. Her nose is grey and eyes blue grey. Lealia's ears are long

Her strongest trait is loyalty. The name she was given fits her very well. She's a responsible and wise
pack member, dog trusted by others, given the rank of a hunter. The weimaraner is determined
and stubborn. She never gives up until her goal is reached. The fae is a skilled hunter, one of the
best in the pack. Lealia's friendliness seems to be her weakness and others think that she wouldn't
hurt a fly. But it isn't true. She knows how to protect herself and would never let anybody make fun
of her. Friends and pack are the dog's highest priority. She'd risk her life for her loved ones' safety.
Lealia is also known for her positive nature and patience. Lealia is shy and reserved around
strangers. She does her best to hide her flaws and weaknesses from others. Lealia is afraid of being
betrayed, that's why she needs time before she warms up to someone. Lealia is understanding,
hates conflicts and tries to avoid them. She's honest and trustworthy. Lea is an active dog. She
doesn't like sitting in the same place. Sometimes it's dificult to find her, because she's always up and
doing. Towards her friends, Lealia is mischievous, humorous and playful. It's also very difficult to

❝I like the fae, but would like to get to know her better. Since we're both hunters, we
go on hunting parties together and she really is skilled. It's amazing, especially because

survival. I don't know how I feel about them yet, but as soon as they become

•Personality~ Alexis is a fun, kind-hearted Irish Setter. She adores pups and would love to have her own family one day to love and cherish. Alexis is a great hunter, she uses her lithe form and speed to bring down small articles of prey as her contribrution to the Viera pack. The young fae is playful, she loves to have fun; she simply does not know the meaning of sitting still. However Alexis can also be easily prevoked, she will not stand being talked down too which can often get her in trouble. The fae does not tolerate rude dogs and believes that respect is earned.
•History~ Alexis was born into the Veira pack and it did not take her long to learn the packs ancient ways. The Irish Setter quickly found her skill as a hunter when she took down her first kill; a small thrush. She loves the feeling of exhilaration and pride when she catches a morsel of prey. Most of all she enjoys the chase, her speed and agility aiding in her quest to swiftly end the animal in order to feed the pack. Alexis is one of the packs best trackers so is often sent to sniff out any prey or locate dangers in the teritory. Alexis has had a normal past to say the least, although she has experienced certain hardships that have made her eyes glisten with hints of wisdom.

•Personality~ Duke is a warm, caring brute with those he loves and trusts. However, he can be quite closed off to those he does not consider close companions. When being described to another, the word that comes up the most is loyal. Duke will never leave behind anyone in need, friend or foe. He is compassionate and selfless, often putting others before himself. Duke can also be described as cold, agressive and sharp-tongued around dogs he does not know. His protective instincts are both his best and worst quality. Because of his size Duke is not natuarally very fast, but his intellect and power make up for his lack in speed. The brute is usually the first one to throw himself into any fight, with his quick thinking and strength he is able to overpower most opponents. Above all, Duke is a caring mutt under his cold exterior and finds comfort in knowing his loved ones are safe. If he was to be described in three words they would be; loyal, protective and selfless.
•History~ The English Mastiff was a stray for the first two years of his life. He was born from a champion bloodline, however he was sold to a harsh owner who bought him to boost his popularity. The mastiffs owner could not afford to care for Duke and this resulted in him abandoning the defenceless pup on the wet, dark streets at 8months old. From then on, Duke had to learn to survive himself, facing many challenges and dangers that no pup should ever encounter. This made Duke the closed off dog he is today but also rewarded him with his best trait; loyalty. After seeing many hardships, Duke vowed to protect those he loves and never stand by to watch another suffer. The brutes live wasn't always so hard, one day when he was hunting a pheasant he came accross a man who was lying on the ground, clutching his chest as he failed to breath and allow respiration to take place. Duke stood by his side and barked untill help came. It turns out that the man was having a heart attack and if he wasn't found he would have lost his life. Once revovered, the man made it his mission to find the dog that saved him; when he went back to the woods he found the mastiff by a makeshift den. Duke had formed an immediate connection with the man and followed him home that day, he was later adopted and stayed by his side every waking moment from that day. One evening when they were on a walk far from town a blizzard hit. Duke tried to get his owner to safety by dragging him by the sleeve to shelter. A group of men thought that Duke was attacking the man and chased him away. After tirelessly searching the brute had to give up and was left to fend for himself once more. Then he crossed paths with the 10 dogs.

Courageous, doubtful and quiet, Astrid is a dog with many hidden secrets and feelings. She is one who wears a mask to cover the lies she tells herself and others. This fae has issues with herself. It all started when she noticed her handler stopped taking her out into the field and took other dogs. This caused this sensitive fae to doubt her abilities. She tries to act confident in what she does but it never really works out for her in the long run as her true feelings slowly seep out into the real world. Astrid tries to put on a brave face for others but when she is alone her true colors are exposed. Really she is a sad dog who is letting her doubt eat away at her confidence. While in a group she is comfortable in, she is adventurous and courageous which is not a mask she wears. It is her true self peaking out from the inside. When she is alone she likes to take risks and explore the world. There are few she allows to become a close friend. This is due to her being closed off from others and not wanting many her true feelings. Astrid can become talkative when she is comfortable, but once another dog whom she is not comfortable being around comes around she clams up and won’t talk but a few words until they leave. This causes others to possibly think that Astrid believes she is better than everyone else when really it’s quite the opposite. One thing to know about this dog is that you can’t force her to talk, while if you ask her to talk she will but it’s never what’s really on her mind.

This fae is a dog who is intelligent, a quick thinker and determined. She tends to get lost in her own mind and you can tell when this happens as she will stare at nothing for a few minuet then snap back into reality. Astrid is a dog who seems to be more mature than others but still knows how to have fun and joke around. This collie has always been able to switch her moods quickly going from silly and relaxed to serious and focused in an instant. This is a skill of hers she has found useful several times but she usually doesn’t do it too often nowadays. This dog is sweet and likes to help others but again she won’t talk a whole lot unless she needs to or wants to (which isn’t very common). Some call her shy but really she isn’t. This dog is misunderstood in that way, she is timid and reserved around others she doesn’t know which may come off as shy when it really isn’t. One more thing you should know about this dog is that she has keen eyes, she noticed many things even movements out of the corner of her eyes. This makes her an effective hunter as she is able to spot things easily especially when they move no matter how much.

Sergeo can come off as many things at first glance. He's charming, kindhearted, and loyal. Despite this, he isn't afraid to show his fangs when needed. His strongest trait shown would probably be his protective nature, in fact, that's what his name means. This could be good or bad, it just depends on the situation. Sometimes he can be overly protective, but it's always for better. Sergeo can be known to snap at times, especially when a dog makes a stupid decision, or does something reckless that puts another's life in danger. Regardless, he often catches himself, and is very forgiving. He cares deeply for everyone in the group, and strives to make them feel happy and most importantly, safe. He believes every true friendship relies on trust, so he makes sure to be honest, and tries not to keep secrets from anyone. Sergeo stays true to what he believes, not letting anyone tell him what to think or how to act. He is more of a leader than a follower, an expert at devising effective strategies. His great intelligence may influence this. He may seem like nothing but caring and kind, but he is also a master of deception, using his traits to his advantage. He tends to stay on the serious side of things, although he does have a slight sense of humor. When you do happen to anger him, he can become your worst nightmare, although Sergeo prefer's to talk rather than fight. Sergeo is a very adventurous and curious individual, always eager to climb to new heights, to travel new distances, to go where no dog has ever gone. "As you can see, I'm not a huge fan of Nikan. I understand that he's trying to do everything he can to help others, but I just don't see it that way. I personally believe I should've been picked for leader instead of Nikan; however, this isn't the main reason my relationship with him is neutral. I respect his opinions and ideas, but I never seems to agree with them. At times, I might act as a leader instead of Nikan without realizing it. This may cause conflicts between him and I in the near future, but that really isn't my intention. I know it's hard to believe, but I actually consider Nikan a danger to the pack of dogs at times. I agree with the fact that trust is the base of a pack bond, but he's too harsh when it comes to forgiveness. Yes, if it's a major issue, than I would react the same way, but I think he needs to loosen up a bit. I am not at all afraid to stand up to him, but I'd rather not cause unneeded conflicts that might just tear the pack apart. I do happen to share many traits with this male... And I find the truth to be extremely important. So, if I'm being honest... I might just be a bit jealous..."

"Kudzu is a dog that I just love to be around. Sometimes she can get a little stubborn and reckless, but regardless I admire her stubbornness and gentle nature, and find it quite cute in a way. Although, when my protective nature ties in, I can be known get a bit frustrated with her acts. This is always because I'm trying to protect her, and I never mean to cause her harm in any way. Even so, I will jump to her defense in a heartbeat, but this also goes for the other dogs if she happens to hurt their feelings. Ever since I came to the pack Kudzu has been there for me. She's one of the closest friends I have, and I'm glad she's living and well after that monster of a blizzard. I don't have any romantic feelings for her yet, and I'm not sure if I ever will. Either way, I'm glad to have a confident female like her by my side, and I couldn't forgive myself if I let anything happen to her."

"Astrid is another one of my friends in the group. She seems very intelligent, although I wish she'd speak more often, as her words always seem to captivate me. She's one of those dogs that I'm willing to spend a lot of time with. I always strive to get her to share her opinions and speak up because I believe she has great potential. "I'm not really sure when it comes to Enid... I feel like she's misunderstood, but at the same time I don't know if I can trust her or not. She's not usually one to willingly show her emotions, so I can never really tell what she's thinking at a given moment. This worries me, as well as her tactless nature. Because of her insensitive behavior and ability to hurt others feelings without even knowing it, I can be cautious around Enid. Despite this, I know how much she's been through and would like to get to know her even better- if she lets me, that is. I truly feel sorry for her considering what she's been through, but will jump to a dogs defense if she happens to hurt them in any way. I can excuse the minor traits mentioned, and look into her other traits. She quickly got comfortable with the group as soon as she joined, and knows what it means to be a part of it. She pulls her weight and I appreciate that."

"Jaeger is a dog that I could easily get along with. His obedience and intelligence are great assets to the group, and I hold a great amount of respect for this male. I see a bit of myself in him, especially when it comes to his thirst for adventure. I, for example, am a dog that loves to explore beyond my own boundaries. I just love the feeling of discovering new things, and learning from these experiences all the same. On the other hand, I know how to set my limits. Jaeger, however, has more trouble with this... I've heard he even denied his owners and still gave into his lust for adventure. I have a bad feeling about this; a bad feeling that Jaeger's thirst for exploring could put the group in danger at times. Aside from that, I could see Jaeger and I getting along quite nicely."

"I'm actually very fond of Charlie. I find myself sharing a lot of her traits, and also find her easy to work with despite her slightly stubborn nature. I enjoy being around her, she's got a great sense of fun, something I haven't seen in many since the accident. I just think she's a great dog, you know? Similar to me, she'd rather solve problems with words than fangs, I really admire this part of her. I also know she unimaginably brave, her hardworking personality and willingness to help tells me this. Another thing enjoy about being around her is her amazing sense of humor. Charlie might just be able to make me laugh if she setter her mind to it. Get it? Setter, because she's an Irish Setter? Heh... Sorry. I'm not really big at making jokes, but since she laughs easily I'm sometimes tempted to make a quick one. Oh she has a wonderful laugh, she really does. She's another dog I'm fairly close to in the ten, and I can find myself being very protective over her."

"Duke seems like a very friendly and caring brute, which is always good. However, I've heard he usually throws himself into a fight first, so I'm not sure if his aggressive and cold behavior could get the rest of the group into trouble or not. Duke is big and all, but I'm not afraid to stand up to him if I don't agree with his tactics. Regardless, I can't see myself really having any major issues with him. He's selfless and compassionate, and I know that he'd do anything to keep these dogs safe."

"Thayer is a dog that I could not see myself getting along with. Not only do his brutal tactics trouble me, but he came to power by killing the previous leader. This is extremely troubling to me, and I can't even imagine how the leader's pack felt when he performed the sickening action. I'm sure they're fine with Thayer now, as any dog should be loyal to their leader. It makes me think... If his pack really disliked him as much as I do, they would've done something about it. Thayer must be doing something right to cause his pack treat him with such respect. I'm sure his brutal tactics aren't all he is. He's certainly responsible and courageous. I'd have to spend more time with him, and I might just end up respecting this leader of the Viera Pack. For now, though, I wouldn't hesitate to show my fangs if he threatens anyone in the group."

"Khal? Well he's from the other pack, so I could see us butting heads at first. However, if I got to know him he could be one of my best friends. I happen to hold a great amount of respect for Khal. He's so selfless and considerate of his pack-mates. It's a shame he's not in our group, he would be an enjoyable companion for all of us. However, I'm quite aware of how strong he is, and will be extra protective around the group when he's around. I just wish I was able to get to know him better."

"Rogier comes off as... Sort of a mix of Thayer and Khal at times. He's hardworking and a good soldier... Intelligent and loyal... Many of his traits are actually pretty pleasing, but he comes off as aggressive and without empathy. It's something that really troubles me at times, especially when I worry about what he could do if he came face to face with one of our dogs. He proves to show no mercy and is utterly loyal to Thayer. I can't really say I'd want to meet him in battle, but I'd fight to my last breath for my group. I'd just make sure to be very cautious around this dog, as I'm not exactly sure how far he'll go if he meets a stranger."

"Despite her being from the other pack, I believe I would get along with Lealia quite nicely. She seems like a nice dog, different from many of the others in her pack. She's considerate and caring, yet she doesn't let anyone push her around. Again, if she were one of the dogs in our group we could become good friends. However, I think she should work on opening up to strangers more often. She's reserved at times but I can look past that. I admire her persistence and ability to stay calm in the worst situations. I would like to get to know her if possible, but I will always put the pack first."

"Another Irish Setter? I wouldn't mind being around Alexis, the only limit is that she's from the other pack. Like Charlie, Alexis seems to have a great sense of fun. I could use some fun every once and a while, but sometimes it's necessary to be serious. Her sensitiveness when it comes to insults and such could also be a problem. However, since Alexis is not in the group it's really none of my business."

"Abra seems like a very nice female. She's very social and intelligent, something I usually end up admiring in dogs. Aside from that, the thing that stands out to me the most about her happens to be her confidence. The way she behaves, how she isn't afraid of a challenge, I really appreciate. She seems to care a lot about her pack, but I feel like she can get a bit too competitive at times. It doesn't bother me much, but it's something that could cause some dogs to feel uncomfortable around her. Despite this minor detail, Abra is a female that I'd like to get to know better, like most of the Viera pack."
