[ personality. ] | coyotestar is distant-minded and calm. more times than not, he has been found just sitting and staring at the sky. he day-dreams constantly, but he always has been known as a great leader. his calm demeanor made him popular among the cats, even as a warrior. when made deputy, he put his whole heart and soul into not disappointing his clan. now that he's leader, coyotestar knows he has his clan's loyalty. there is a downside to being distant-minded. he sometimes will ignore cats when talking with them because he has started day-dreaming again. |

[ history. ] | coyotekit was born to eaglecry and spiderthorn. he had an average kithood, and was adopted by the clan. he was apprenticed under dewclaw, and had excellent training from the senior warrior. half-way through his warrior training, dewclaw died of greencough. coyotepaw's training was transferred to a tom by the name of thistleheart. coyotepaw finished his training, and received his warrior name, coyotegrowl. he was soon mentoring an apprentice of his own when he was only eighteen moons old. after four moons of training his apprentice, coyotegrowl's mother gave birth to foxkit. coyotegrowl finished the last two moons of his apprentice's training, ignoring the young tom that was his brother. by the time foxkit was apprenticed, coyotegrowl had been given the title of deputy. the previous leader of nightclan, hawkstar, was old and weak. foxpaw was barely an apprentice before his brother was vaulted to the position of leader. coyotegrowl, now coyotestar, continued ignoring his sibling, but was tortured to watch his parents ripped from his grasp as the earthquake shook his whole world. |

[ personality. ] | foxthorn is outgoing and bubbly. he loves to play around, and will do anything to spend a day just to have fun. even now, after the earthquake, foxthorn does everything he can to cheer everybody else. but his spirit had been dampened a bit, as his watched his parents die right before his eyes. foxthorn loves his friends, but he can easily make enemies as he sometimes takes a prank over the line. he made enemies with the old leader when he was just a kit because he pretended to be dead, and then sprang onto hawkstar's back and demanded a badger-ride. needless to say, foxthorn didn't get the badger-ride he wanted. |

[ history. ] | foxkit was born to eaglecry and spiderclaw. foxkit always wanted to play with his older brother, coyotegrowl, but the older tom's apprentice kept his time completely occupied. foxkit began resenting his older brother as he was vaulted to deputy, and finally leader. foxpaw trained hard, and was given the name foxthorn. foxthorn still does anything he can to stay away from his brother as coyotestar just ignores him. foxthorn had nearly thrown himself in a large crack in the earth after his parents, but coyotestar had dragged him back and thrown him out of the way of the trembling earth. |

owlpaw is a very lively young apprentice, full of life and e

ht side of situations, though sometimes even she is too de

enthusiastic side, always ready and happy to do almost an
ything. owlpaw was born to a kittypet, though she was a k
ittypet that left that life to join the clan when she becam
e pregnant with owlpaw and her brother, mosskit, who ha
d been blind in one eye. owlpaw was very close to her fam
ily, other than her father whom she had never met and ne

brother and mother died when the clan was destroyed.

sootfur is, and always has been, a very loyal member to hi
s clan. as a kit and apprentice he always dreamed of doing
huge things; becoming deputy, finding a mate, having kits,
etc. he's always dreamed big, with a great imagination fill
ed to the brim with thoughts of how he could do great for
his clan. he's a very easy tom to approach, with a friendly
aura and a nice, laid back demeanor, always ready to wel
come new faces into his life. he is fairly witty, constantly
throwing out little jokes or teasing those close to him play
fully, unless of course there's a situation where he can't m
uster up this happy wittiness. when the clan was destroye
d, he lost his brother, adderstrike, his sister, heathertail,
as well as their father, boulderstep. his mother had passe
d away while giving birth to him and his siblings. He was t
he only one in his family to survive the earthquake.

well, here she is, that one warrior that would literally dive head first into battle over the well-being of her clan.
riverheart is a strong, courageous, and fierce she cat, yet a calm aura surrounds her. riverheart is a kind, graceful,
and generous and intelligent she-cat, determined to make her clan the best it can be. she's very hard-working and
diligent, often times finding herself absorbed inside of her work without really meaning to be. she always tries to
figure out the best solution to a situation, and if she can, find a way to make everything turn out peacefully. she
may challenge the leader's law, but it's only because she sees a better option than the one being announced. ho-
wever, if things don't turn out they way she wants them to go, she'll surely fight to the death over her clan and t-
he cats within, there isn't a clanmate she'd put her life on the line for. some go on to speculate that the reason f-
or her over-protective nature is because of her history before she became clan leader, but it's only a mere rumor,
nothing has been confirmed by her yet.

not everything was sunshine and rainbows for riverheart. the fierce she-cat was born to two strong and brave w-
arriors, both of which paid no attentionto her. riverkit watched from the sidelines as their ambitions got the be-
tter of them, and they abandoned both of their kits. she supported sunkit's determination to become medicine
cat and wanted to become leader so that they could be proud of both of them, so she trained tirelessly to beco-
me one of the best apprentices. her mother and father left the clan when riverkit became an apprentice, but b-
y then she had found comfort in an older tom by the name of nightheart... but there were three problems wrong
with this equation. one, nightheart was a warrior who was considerably older than her. two, nightheart had a
mate, which leads us to number three...his mate was expecting. but riverpaw was determined to make him fall
for her, which she eventually ended up in succeeding with. their love lasted in secret, even after she had earned
her warrior name.

a few moons after, nightheart's mate died giving birth to their one kit, shadowkit. riverheart was a young warrior
then, but she saw any kin of nightheart's was kin of her's. she took shadowkit in as her own, and the three of the-
m became the family that riverheart had always wanted...but alas, all good things must come to an end. adding to
the casualty count, riverheart lost both nightheart and shadowpaw to the earthquake. riverheart was ready to pounce
in afterhim and save the young apprentice with him, but sunleaf was the to drag her back. she watched in pain and
anger as her whole world was taken from her, being swallowed by the crack in the ground

i see you've stumbled upon the calm and gentle sunleaf, good, maybe he'll lighten the mood after riverheart's tragic
story. sunleaf is a calm and courteous tom-cat, never one to stray far from his duties he's always been the calm one
out of him and riverheart. he's a very intelligent cat, and can pick up things quicker than most of the clan can. his
observant nature and calm demeanor make him the negotiator out of the two, where as riverheart would most likely
let her emotions take control of her sunleaf relies on his common sense more often than not. he realizes how upset
riverheart is with him as of now, but with time he knows she'll get over it. he may seem emotionally detached, and
that's probably one of the traits he wishes he didn't have. he strives to be more like riverheart in some ways, her
emotions are more in tact then his ever were, and even now when he knows she lost close to everything he sees her
still caring about others like it never happened. in some ways he sees it as foolish, but he knows she's only trying to
keep her mind off of things.

well, here she is, that one warrior that would literally dive head first into battle over the well-being of her clan.
sunkit was the one kit int the nursery that never really showed any emotion for anyone, except for riverkit. he
didn't see himself playing with the other kits, so instead he spent most of his time in the medicine cat den with
the former medicine cat, learning about all different kinds of herbs and their uses. as he became more familiar
with different herbs, he began to notice riverheart's familiarity for nightheart, he knew what kind of mistake she
was making, yet chose to ignore her, she wanted his love, she was eventually going to get it if she wanted it bad
enough.

yet, he could not fathom what would happen to his clan.

the crack in the ground was just the tip of the ice burg for him, he had spent days trying to figure out what the
crack in the ground meant...but by the time he had solved the puzzle it was too late. he blames himself for the
loss of so many of his clanmates to the earthquake, and it honestly would have broken him if he would have lost
riverheart...he thanks starclan he ended up saving her...but he's not so happy about riverheart being upset with
him for not saving nightheart and shadowpaw...
