sagestar is a golden
she-cat with tabby-like, leopard-like
black spot-stripes along her side, face, legs,
and belly. a solid black line runs along
her spine, from between her ears
to her tail-tip.she has very thin
fur, and exceptionally long
whiskers. her paws are small
and dainty, while most of her
height comes from her legs,
which are quite long for a cat.
her eyes are a frosty green, that
of sage, where is where she partially
got her name. right in the middle of
her chest is a thick, jagged scar. she
has teeth marks all down her front left
leg, and scratch marks litter themselves
around her muzzle. these scars are from
the past battles with the wolves.

sagestar is a snappy she-cat, who has
quite the snarky personality. many other
felines hate her attitude, but you
really have to get to know her before
she reveals her true self. this is because
of past experiences in which she became
close to friend, only to loose them. this gave
her her hardened shell around her
emotions, and causes her to be like
a scared turtle around newcomers.
just be yourself around her, and she
might just open up to you.

♔.history.♔ basilfur, a tom, had sired a litter of three. the three tiny kits lay at dappleshade's belly, tiny balls of fluff. there was a golden tabby she-cat, a white tom, and a white she-cat with one black ear. sagekit was the first named, as basilfur declared he wanted one of his kits named after the wonderful founder of hawkclan. sagekit's brother was named snowkit, and her sister was named blizzardkit. sagekit grew quickly among her littermates, and soon they were apprenticed. snowkit decided to go off and be a medicine cat, leaving sagekit with only her sister at her side. sagepaw learned quickly, and was an exceptional fighter. one day, about halfway through her apprentice training, the first wolf attack happened. sagepaw, blizzardpaw, and their mentors were ambushed by two of these monsters. sagepaw was tackled by the smaller, and she fought for her life. the wolf got ahold of her front left leg, and chomped viciously. the wolf stumbled in shock as sagepaw's mentor slammed into it. in those moment's of shock, sagepaw ran for her life. she reached camp, and barely managed to tell of the attack. as spiderstar, the previous leader of hawkclan, formed a battle patrol, the rest of the patrol returned. sagepaw's mentor had several scratches and bruises, ad was bleeding heavily from a bite mark in the flank. it was after sagepaw had rushed to her mentor's side did she notice the tattered remains of a cat. she had shrieked in horror, and realized the scrap of fur was blizzardpaw. it was announced, by blizzardpaw's mentor, that the other wolf had cornered blizzardpaw, and tore into her frail body. snowpaw found his sister's body, and began shaking with grief. sagepaw had tried to comfort him in the following moon, but snowpaw refused to eat. he died of grief, hunger, and dehydration a moon after blizzardpaw died. sagepaw was shaken, and didn't really recover until after she was given her warrior name, sagethorn. sagethorn lived shakily, snapping at many cats until spiderstar cornered her and demanded why she was like this. it sort of snapped sagethorn out of her funk. several moons later, sagethorn was given an apprentice. she train the apprentice, and watched as her student became a warrior. sagethorn then woke to the announcement that their previous deputy, owleye, had died while out on night patrol. he'd been attacked by another wolf. by then, hawkclan was beginning to realize that wolves were a threat. sagethorn was named deputy, and she vowed to be the best deputy she could be. she was deputy for many moons, until she was thirty moons old. spiderstar was old and weak, and died of greencough. sagethorn was praised and named sagestar, and she received her nine lives. she was the leader for only four moons before dappleshade gave birth to a litter of one kit. the tiny kit, who was named jaykit, became sagestar's life. she didn't expect to find love, as she didn't think any cat could be attracted to her. when jaykit was four moons old, the wolves first attacked the camp. three cats died, basilfur, dappleshade, and an elder named sandyclaw. sagestar took jaykit in, and started raising her brother as her own. recently, she apprenticed him, and now watches as he trains.

and a white muzzle. his eyes
are a water-like blue. he has
very tiny ears, and still has some
kit fluff. he still looks very
much like a kitten, and is very
small. he will always be smaller
than other cats, and will have
kit-like qualities until he's halfway
through apprentice training.

and will do anything for others around
him. he loves to make friends, and will
be the most loyal friend you
have around unless you do something
to make him not like you or want
to be around you, and that is
very hard to do to his happy-go-lucky
feline.

♔.history.♔ jaykit was born to basilfur and dappleshade. the two cats loved him dearly, and jaykit had a happy young life. he was the only kit in the nursery while he was there, but he always had his big sister, sagestar, to play with. he was always a boisterous kit, and the apprentices loved playing with such a lively kit. jaykit thought nothing could go wrong in his protective bubble he called his world. but horror struck on a day like any other. jaykit heard menacing howls from outside the nursery, and poked his nose outside to see what was going on. dappleshade drug him back inside the nursery, and covered him with moss scraps. basilfur stood by the entrance, and a beast burst into the nursery. it was like a large, gray dog, but much more ferocious. the wolf, as jaykit figured out by the way dappleshade was screaming that word, lunged for basilfur. jaykit watched in horror as his father's life was take before his eyes. the wolf then lunged for dappleshade, towards jaykit. dappleshade met the wolf head on, and clawed at its face. jaykit trembled silently as the wolf snapped dappleshade's neck. a howl took the wolf's attention away from jaykit, and the wolves retreated from camp. jaykit trembled as sagestar stepped into the nursery and took him out. she then took him to her den. there, she comforted and raised jaykit until just a few days ago, when he was apprenticed. now, he's shaken off the grief and horror of watching his parent's die, and he thrives as a young apprentice, eager to be the best.
