A Trainer destined to save the Pokémon World

Leia was born on an early summer's day in the gleaming Crown City. The night time sky shone with the light of stars at the time of her
birth and so her parents named her for the shining star qualities. Shooting through her early days her black hair lightened to a shade of
chestnut. The natural flowing fountain of hair was ever rich in its texture and volume. Battles captivated the young Leia from an early
age. Whenever battle competitions were airing on the tv she practically had her face glued to the screen in awe. Another value of imp-
ortance was nature. The prominent role it played was greatly influenced by Crown City itself, in which the city is said to be the perfect
balance between forest and city, where they coexist harmoniously. Leia would spend hours wandering through the streets where plants
grew tall and strong. Off in the distance Mt. Coronet could been seen to the west, it was the true display of power for Leia. Arriving in
her late teenage years, and in the transition period to young adult, she strives for greatness and to become on of the region's defenders.
There is a true desire and passion for Pokémon blazing through her veins. A reserved sense of silent beauty courses through her and she
aspires for it to been shown in her battle style. Leia values the quest to earn all eight Gym Badges for its own physical, mental, and the
special personal trails it provides. Leia has high hopes and a set will for achieving her goals. She is eager to set out and begin the journey.

xxxbeck was an unexpected child to say the least. his parents had just lost both of their jobs when his mother found she was expecting a child. his father was unsure, and constantly questioned beck's mother about having a child. they barely had enough money to care for themselves, let alone a child. his mother was stubborn though and refused to even think of thought of letting the child go.
xxxduring the first part of his childhood, beck was a happy child. even without a lot of money, his family had managed to continue living for quite some time. his parents were stressed, and he could tell, but his happy attitude always seemed to bring them out of their depressing state. due to their lack of money, beck's mother decided to homeschool her only child.
xxxthe homeschooling worked for years, luckily. beck was quite smart compared to the other kids of his age. the boy had even managed to make a couple of friends at the park when his mother would allow him to go out. surprisingly, the boy talked with others easily. he often found it very easy to just simply start a conversation with someone, even if they seemed intimidating.
xxxaround the age of fourteen, beck's father's body was found at his work, dead. something had gone wrong with one of the larger machines at his father's work. the freak accident was sudden, and caused beck's mother to have to work even harder. beck was forced to get a job, and work his tail off at both his job and at school for his mother.
xxxeventually, around beck's sixteenth birthday, beck's mother decided to go stay with her mother in eterna city. beck was happy his mother was happy, but beck soon became unhappy with the choice to move to his grandma's and decided to stay behind. now beck is traveling the world, starting at his home town of pastoria city.

xxxbeck likes to use pokemon that he doesn't see often. he also enjoys dragon-type pokemon, but to even out his team he tries to make use of other types. the stronger the pokemon can become, the more likely it is to become a member of his team.

born in the sleepy town of sandgem corvus had an interesting upbringing. from an early age corvus showed signs of innate curiosity. the world around him was always such a fascinating place that his parents had a hard time keeping up with him. eager to learn he was always questioning and never seemed satisfied. while smart he went about things differently than other kids his age and was often seen as slow. despite this he excelled in trainer's school. he picked up on many things and was often praised for his out of the box thinking. being sent away from home to jubilife to learn was also a good experience for him. it taught him much needed independence. when it came time for him to think about his future he honestly had no goal. most kids had dreams of traveling the world and battling with their own pokemon partners. corvus, on the other hand, didn't find battling or contests that interesting. as much as he adored pokemon he had no drive to do anything. that was when his parents suggested that he put his unquenchable thirst for knowledge to good use. the town he was born in may be small and unmemorable but, there was one thing it did have; a pokemon lab. battling was one thing but studying was something he was rather good at.

receiving a recommendation from the trainer's school in jubilife city he earned an internship at the lab. since he was young most of the tasks given to him were mundane but he enjoyed it. there was plenty for him to see and experience with his own two hands. as he grew older the work grew harder. there were times in which he spent days out in the field studying pokemon. at this time he also found something he had been missing for a long time; passion. learning everything he could about pokemon became his new driving force. he became immersed in his own projects and often came home covered in dirt. one of his favorite subjects was pokemon sociology. the way pokemon interacted among themselves, humans, and other pokemon was compelling to him. while he was wrapped up in his own studies he forgot one very important thing. professor rowan, who had been staying in kanto, was coming back to the lab soon.

oblivious to this fact corvus carried out his daily routine like nothing was happening. it was only when he returned back to the lab did he notice the change. the lab no, the town was abuzz with excitement. rowan was, after all, a very famous professor. him coming back to town was a great deal. being the 'punk' kid that he was corvus paid this change no heed. he instead kept to himself and his own studies. the professor noticed this and while calling the boy rude, commended him. seeing someone so young and yet so passionate about research, it sparked something in the older man. over the course of a few years the two became rather close, to the point of him referring to the professor as uncle. one day, out of the blue, rowan requested that corvus help out with his own studies. the professor was known for studying evolution and often gave new trainers pokemon to start their journey. too busy with his own research he had never thought about being a trainer. rowan suggested that traveling the world, with pokemon in tow, would be the best way for both of their research to be completed. it was a fact that was hard to argue with. after thinking it over he agreed and was given the task of filling out the pokedex for the professor. that, of course, was secondary to his own goals but in the end their research went hand in hand.

corvus is a very driven individual who tends to put his work before himself. like most researchers he is passionate about what he does. if given the chance he can, and will, talk for hours so it's best not to egg him on. being new to owning pokemon he is still a bit stiff about battling but if it's for his studies he will gladly take on any challenge. in spite of this he fiercely adores pokemon and , research aside, would do anything to give them a hand. there are times in which he loses track of time and becomes too immersed with his research. because of this he tends to cause problems and needs someone to keep an eye on him. while his book smarts are top notch his common sense is a little lacking. he is a bit too trusting of others and easily gets swept up into trouble. unlike most researchers who tend to sit back and observe corvus likes to jump head first into everything. be it writing papers or field studies if there is something he can do he will do it with everything he has. this side of him can be seen as annoying to some but he attributes it to youth.
