Hey guys its Keesa. I know I might be acting petty but I'm just feeling so hurt and violated right now I need for this rp to take a brake for a bit while I sort out how I'm going to move forwards. As you could probably already guess this role play is very important and personal to me, its out of a book that I've been writing and thinking about for years now and it was a big step deciding to make a role play on it for this cite. I have a problem trusting people as it is and it took a long time for me to get the courage to make this and trust you guys with something I cared a lot about. Everyone I knew told me not to trust putting up something I didn't want other people to use for themselves onto the internet but I thought everyone here was just so nice and wouldn't do anything like that. I just kind of thought it was a given not to steal other people's ideas and characters and pass them off as there own but I was wrong. I began to trust and actually consider some of you good friends and I was soo happy! Then someone I knew from another cite showed me that one of my best friends here, on this form, one of you, who I was actually starting to really trust and really thought you were my friend, probably my closest internet friend, had taken this rp and copy and pasted it onto another cite along with some of my characters and I am not referenced once. Nor did they ask me for permission, they just took them and claimed they were their ideas! You just took them as your own and didn’t even say who the original owner was you stole the ideas from! I thought I could trust you!
I’m just so blown away by this I-I need to take a break from this role play so it’s going to go on pause, please don’t post on it until I say I’m ready for us to start again. There's going to have to be some changes once I start this up again.
Yes, I know I’m probly just overreacting but I’m just exstemely upset!
As for the person who did this, and yes I know who you are, please go and cite me. Please say that ScarletHart/Rook and MountainAsh/Rowan are Keesa’s characters along with the original premise for the role play. If you don't I'll contact the sites moderators. I would have been fine with you using the rp's premise, though not the characters, had you just asked me and given me credit.
As for everyone else who didn’t do anything wrong, I’m sorry for the rant. I honestly didn’t think this would happen and now that it did I just feel so vulnerable. I’m sorry you have to wait for me to recover before continuing with the rp but I just need some time.
Also You guys can still use the discussion thread for any rant/comfort needs in the meantime!
