jayfrost is lovable, and has always been around cats that like him. he loves making friends, and will be loyal to the till the end of the line. his father left when he was a young kit, and he doesn't want to leave any of his friends like his father left him. therefore, jayfrost can always be that cat to lean on when your in trouble. when people tease him about his father, who left to become a kittypet, jayfrost won't hold anything back. he doesn't like being teased because of his parents because he isn't them, and declared that he is no longer his father's son.

jaykit was born to flurrypelt and heronclaw. he and his sister, maplekit, were woken one night by heronclaw slipping into the nursery. jaykit had watched as his father whispered i'm sorry, but goodbye. i can't live in moonclan anymore. i'm leaving the mountains to go to the twolegplace. to flurrypelt's sleeping body. jaykit had followed heronclaw out of camp, until he was yelled at and told to return to flurrypelt. from that moment on, jaykit resented his father. soon, jaykit and maplekit were apprenticed. jaypaw trained as hard as he could, as training helped him release his anger for his father. jaypaw passed his assessments with flying colors, and was given the name jayfrost. jayfrost made friends with many of the warriors quickly, and now thrives in moonclan. his thick pelt helps him not to feel the cold from the seemingly eternal winter. jayfrost was surprised when maplenose kitted a single son. jayfrost became like a father to the kit, because maplenose refused to say who the father was.

jayfrost - brother, smokepaw - son

maplenose is very reserved and shy. ever since her father left her as a kit, maplenose quit being the overly excited cat she was known for being. she barely speaks, and has very few friends. she fears betrayal so much that the only cat she will carry a long conversation is with her brother. she does have a son, smokepaw, and she loves him dearly. she just hopes that no cat will betray him, as she doesn't want him to turn out like she did.

maplekit was born in a litter of two to flurrypelt and heronclaw. she and her brother, jaykit, were woken one night by their father telling their mother. maplekit did everything she could to stop her brother from following him, but she finally gave up and let jaykit go. soon, he was returning with fear the only thing in his gaze. he trembled in fear as he lay down and fell back to sleep. it wasn't much longer until maplekit was apprenticed, and she trained hard. she wasn't very strong, and hunting became her strength in training. she just barely passed her battle assessment, and as awarded the name maplenose. about three moons later, she was out on patrol when she scented a strange cat. she separated from the patrol to investigate, and met a black tom who went by the name soot. she fell in love, and promised to meet with him at that spot every half moon. they went on meeting for four moons until maplenose announced she was pregnant. soot had purred in delight, and decided to join moonclan. on their way back, an eagle swooped down and snatched up soot. maplenose had ahold of the eagle, but its powerful wings had pushed her off. soot was carried off into the sky, and disappeared for good. maplenose had returned that night, and fell into a sort of depression. until her kit, smokekit, was born, maplenose hadn't spoke a word to anybody. she had refused to tell the name of the father, since she feared her son might be kicked out of moonclan. when he was apprenticed, she returned to her warrior duties. when sootkit was three moons old, flurrypelt died of greencough, giving maplenose even more to grieve about.

smokepaw is outgoing and excitable. he has had fun throughout his kit hood, and decided to carry on the legacy into apprenticeship. he loves to run, and coldness is his friend. he has a sharp eye, and can spot an eagle high in the sky. he loves to play, and will do anything to have a good game with the other apprentices.

smokekit was born to maplenose. for the first moon of his life, he begged to know who his father was. jayfrost stepped in and became his fatherly figure. smokekit gave up on learning the truth, and started enjoying life as a kit. he would grow lonely at times, as he had no siblings. just very recently, he was apprenticed. he is very curious, and won;t give up until he finds who his father was. - not much of a history since he's only six moons old.
