Okay so I just thought of something that I thought I would share with you all. In a route where Willowpaw does become an evil cat [I'm calling this the Willowfrost route], I could see Shadepaw confessing her feelings a bit too late. I can see Shadepaw realizing that Willow's acting a bit strange, and then she tries to talk to him. They get into a heated argument that some of the clan cats hear.
"I care about you because I love you, Willowfrost!"
Everything seems to go silent while Willowfrost's green eyes go into a silt. It seems to move Willowfrost for a moment, but then he coldly meows back, "So did Branchsnout."

You know, Stormstep and Willowpaw really remind me of Obi-Wan and Anakin o.o

WHY DID I NOT SEE THIS UNTIL NOW. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL COMPARISON. I might draw these two in the respective outfits just because of this.

"i was born during late new-leaf to a loving mother, with two strong and healthy littermates. my brother, galethorn, my sister, rabbitbreeze, and i grew up close to each other, playing and rough-housing and having races around the camp, always staying under our mom's watchful gaze. our father wasn't very involved, but when he was there, he would tussle with us and love on us as much as any father should. considering that he was the deputy, we all understood that he was often busy, even though we did sometimes feel as though he didn't pay us enough attention. even if we weren't very connected, all of us respected him, for we could tell that he loved our dear mother very, very much. my siblings and i became apprentices at the same time as the kit of another queen, cricketstripe. growing up, cricketstripe and i became very fond of each other, and we were close friends even as we became warriors. galethorn was the first of of us to be given an apprentice, and took a mate of his own. things looked as though they were going very well, and cricketstripe and i's relationship blossomed; soon, we became mates. then, the hard times came. rabbitbreeze went out on a hunt, and never returned to us--we searched for many days, but there was nothing to be found. the loss was difficult, and i was torn, never able to give up the shred of hope i had that she would return to us. as if that wasn't enough, the landslide came only moons later, and my beloved mate and my brother were lost to the mud and floodwaters. galethorn was overcome by the mud trying to save his mate's last kit, and cricketstripe was last seen disappearing into camp to search for those missing. he never returned."
