History:
Honestly? Toby has lived a fairly privileged and mundane life. He was an only child, his parents were happily married. Never did he have to worry about anything. Boringly normal, though comfortable. Tobias's parents belonged to a pack, but not a wild pack separate from human society, no. The family lived in northern Canada (oh hey, Canadian accent! Let me go edit that!) harsh, cold winters, and millions of miles of beautiful forests. The PERFECT place for a wolf pack to thrive while also living alongside humans. His parents weren't powerful, and neither is he. This poses no problem to the rather push-over trouble maker. Toby loves being in the spotlight and loves making friends but he would much rather allow someone else to take the lead, always has been that way. Very early in life Tobias learned his place in both the human world and wolf world. His mother was a successful writer and his father a doctor. He, by default, learned to love both. In all honesty the rank of a healer or even omega would better fit Tobias based upon his personality and laziness. Tobias attended a few year at a local college majoring in veterinary medicine and minoring in creative writing before he was offered to join the pack as a fighter. He initially was skeptical (naturally) but he soon came around and parted ways with his parents to start a new chapter of his life.

This isn't because Toby is too lazy to finish (well, maybe just a little), but because he is bright and easily distracted. It is a real challenge to tie this one down. Tobias asks questions about everything. Dull answers are not for this him. The writer element he has works strongly to fuel the intellect of him, but the mutable aspect of Toby overall keeps the questions coming. This makes for a highly skilled debater. When Tobias is backed by a high intelligence quotient, you'll see a razor sharp conversationalist that can jump skillfully from topic to topic. Tobias loves to talk and he is in his element both at gatherings and behind when speaking publically on his own. He is not a homebody, like others. Tobias likes to be out and about, learning about the world and particularly about how others think. Conversation fuels Tobias, it feeds the core of his being. Toby loves to learn, and he also loves to share what he has learned with others. However, because his mind works so quickly and draws from eclectic resources, he is an absolute charmer when put to the conversational test. One can always look to Tobias for the quick-witted response, and he does love to be contradicted in speech. This gives him an opportunity to deliver fast comedic slaps and wry retorts, the sort that keeps his victims awake and planning responses for many nights. With Tobias everything is fast. He is prompt in speech, quick in whim, and the end comes soon after the beginning. His creativity is always running high and as soon as one project begins, another is already in planning. Efficiency is the gift of his. Tobias can often be seen as emotionally unreachable. Emotional responses are not always recognized, even by the Tobias himself. Yes, Toby does have emotions. However true emotions such as sadness and anger are often cast aside in favor of more logical and tangible pursuits. In relationships, Tobias tends to theorize. He often looks at "How I should feel" above "How I actually feel." This causes him to get involved in relationships he is not ready for and those for which he is poorly matched. Also, because he is ever-chasing new pursuits, it is very difficult for Tobias to accept commitment. He will always be seeking "the best of the best." Though easily distracted, Tobias could be an excellent addition to the pack. He is not a grunt laborer, however. If the rank he obtains for Toby is interesting and appealing, Tobias will get more done than his pack mates or friends will accomplish all week.
