Hazel tends to be a pushover, scared of forest cats and the unknown. She is shy.. Very shy, never comfortable in her own paws. She is quiet, but kind, and will always give chances. She tries to be the strong cat she imagines herself to be, but fails at it. She is a very good liar, one to get away with things quite easily.

Adopted from a shelter, she first opened her eyes to a new mother cat. This cat wasn't her real mother, but was forced to feed hazel, the young newborn. She always remembered the taunts and snickers from the feeding cat, but never payed so much attention. Later after her kit hood, she was growing. Every year, that horrible she cat would hiss and throw terrible comments to poor hazel. Hazel lived in this hate for years, finally maturing to 16 moons. She wanted to leave that terrible place, finally escaping from a small windowsill. "That's right! Leave right now! This home was supposed to be mine before you intruded, rat breath!!" The she-cat hissed one more time, before hazel jumped. She was free.
