As you step onto the soft warm sand
you look around. You came to this beach with our
owner on a vacation but they left,left you.
You look around wary as you smell other
dogs. As a female red Australian Shepherd
comes out from behind a shack she barked
"Hello. I'm Mesa(May-sa),leader of the Shore Dogs.
Who are you?" You look at her & reply,"I'm
(insert name)... My owner left me here on vacation."
Mesa nods & motions her head for you
to follow. You follow her over to a shack,a big shack.
"This is our shack where we sleep." Mesa barks.
You nod as she leads you inside to many dogs of all
breeds. A Karelian Bear Dog stands up & walks ove
r to you. "Good morning Mesa. Who is this?"
The dog looks at you not sure about you.
"This is (insert name). She/He said her/his owner
left them here. Oh, This is Katie my good friend
she is second in command." Mesa barks. Katie
nods & then barks. "Would you care to
join us?" This is your choice....

You wander aimlessly on a beach of white sand bordering a lake with the deepest, bluest water you had ever seen. The sound of seagulls nearby grant a feeling of peace and serenity. The wind blowing off of the nearby ocean kept the heat to a comfortable temperature, relaxing your sore muscles from the swim from the mainland. You sought to explore the unknown island you had seen from afar, going out at low tide to make the short swim over. It was truly paradise, a place you did not wish to leave anytime soon; however, soon you start to feel as if you were being watched. It was too quiet. Too perfect. A scarred black face appears from the brush, friendly, yet cautious, at the sight of you. You stand completely still, stricken with fear as the large tom makes his way over to where you are standing. "It seems you have wandered onto the territory of the Tribe of the Black Pearl. I am the captain around these parts. My name is Eye of the Eerie Tempest, though you may call me Tempest. Are you friend or foe?"

Introduction

You are just a normal wolf living a normal life, but wait...
You are in an odd forest, with a hazy sky and a dark feeling. You catch the scent of other creatures, but then you hear something in the bushes. A large wolf comes out, looking quite calm, quite friendly and welcoming. They circle around you and nod seeing as you are worthy enough. You ask them who they are and they say, "Ah yes I am the alpha here of this pack, we are the rulers of this forest, would you like to join us or would you rather get out of my sight?"
Now you must decide, will you join or suffer in this dark vicious land?

But there's more to this story than one would expect. For as long as wolves have been told the pack had been ruled by some of the kindest alphas ever until the reign of the alpha Freya. Though she was kind and caring to all she had made the mistake of falling for one loner in particular. She had brought him into the pack believing he was worthy, but little was she aware of his ruthless and bloodthirsty attitude. This new alpha Vergo had put on his act to fool everyone and soon impregnated his new mate. As soon and the pups were born and ready to train he chased out Freya and anyone who dared stand up to him. He raised the three pup, but eventually chased out two of them for being like their mother which left the one female, brutally ruthless and ready to lead. Though Vergo is long deceased his spirit still lives on and his offspring now leads with a determined spirit and only desire to do what was told and forced upon her. The pack is left in this state now feared by the entire forest, but maybe some wolf can bring out a spark of good in the alpha.

The outbreak occurred around 5 months ago, people have lost a sense of time by now. The world has a new leading species and humans became like animals, focusing on surviving. Some may have given up already, but others are ready to fight.As soon as evacuation occurred, the towns were left crowded with those who were ready for the end of the world, choosing to do what they weren't allowed anymore. Many of those larger cities were bombed that night to eliminate as much of the infected as possible, eliminating many of the rebelliants along the way. The survivors on the other hand, took the time to raid whatever they could, heading for medical stores, weapon sellers and large supermarkets for food, everything they needed, as soon as possible as they were all on limited time, many perished as soon as that as they fell either by the infected, rebels or other survivors. then fled out of the city.

Once the fires settled, rich people fled out of the continent, and rebels became survivors, people began to return to towns, join groups, and do whats needed to live, there are some 'safe zones' made by the army which are aiming to make life go back to normal, but not many believe in them well. Electricity and everything of such is down, the only way of communicating is through radio waves, also through which there are warnings being sent, a certain frequency is constantly playing "The World has ended, those who survived. Stay Safe." In a computer voice. Other frequencies are giving coordinations for their zones. Everyone is trying to survive.

No one is to be trusted, people are allready taking drastic measures and some people are using the chance to revenge on life. This Story will be set in the state of Georgia, Macon to be more exact.The state's low population density, large number of Walmarts, military bases and hospitals, and high rate of gun ownership make it a great place to ward off impending doom. So If you do choose to join, Good luck.

Beyond Blood is a realistic, semi-lit+ wolf roleplay. It is centred around the lives of two packs; Arena, lead by Quinlan, and Folium, lead by Aaron. Aaron and Quinlan are brothers, who were separated at birth when Quinlan was stolen by his Uncle, Orson, who wanted revenge on his sister Vida. They were reunited when they were yearlings, and decided to leave the war-torn lands of their ancestral packs. They set off with many wolves from the younger generation of the packs, and founded the Second Kingdom, each brother establishing a pack of his own. They are determined to keep the peace, but some of their packmates still hold old grudges, and the differences in the upbringings of both packs is creating tension the two brothers might not be able to control.

At the moment we only need a few more characters in order to begin, although there are plenty of open spots still.
We need two subordinates (legionnaires) in the Arena pack. The Arena pack has roman-themed names for their ranks, hence 'legionnaire' is the name used for subordinates. We also need a subordinate in Folium. There is still a beta rank free in Folium, so if you're looking for a high rank, now's your chance. These are just the ranks that we need to start roleplaying - there are plenty more spots to choose from, so don't feel as though you might be getting in too late! We're hoping to start soon, so if you have any interest at all, please take a look at our threads at the very least!

You've seen this happen in movies, but you never believed it would happen. It was some silly television
show like The Walking Dead or Zombie Land. You might've even thought that it would be cool to be in
an apocalypse situation. Well, your dream had come true. A sudden outbreak at a local hospital cause
d mass destruction. Someone had fallen ill, died hours later, and came back as a living dead person. C
razy, right? So far, there's no sign for a cure. It's been two months since the outbreak, and no one has f
igured out how to stop it. Now, you live in a world where the dead walks and people slowly go insane.
When you're bit by a zombie, you do not have a lot of options. Some people chopped off the certain li
mb, and they survived. What if it's an area that you cannot chop off? Well, you slowly lose your mind.

There's two stages of this disease. When you're bit by a diseased (not killed), the disease eats at your b
rain until you can no longer control yourself. These people are called the infected. If you're killed (not
shot in the head), you turn into a zombie, walker, whatever you want to call it. If you have a pal, you
better hope they put you out of your misery before you get anywhere close to becoming a walker. An i
nfected is not as bad as a walker, since they do have control of their mind (and they're not dead) and c
an function for a few days or even months before completely losing their mind. Every infected has thei
r own limit to this disease. Who knows, it could take them a whole year until they turn into a complete
ly insane lunatic, but no one has survived that long to find out. Another set back? The infected can infe
ct you with their saliva. So that means no drinking or eating after them. Sorry couples- that means no k
issing either. Unless, of course, you're an immune. What's an immune? Well, they are immune to the dis
ease, but there are not many of them. Most people envy the immunes and want to kill them, so you bet
ter watch yourself. This world is going mad.

So what are you? An infected, immune, or a survivor? People are forming groups to stay close and prot
ect one another. Though, how long will these groups last? Will you find a safe haven? That's the world's c
hoice. You're in the hands of the world. It can do whatever it wants to you, so you best be careful. You m
ay even hold the lives of others if you're in charge of a group.

For many years our kind has lived on this planet, nothing to fear. We were happy, we were safe. Then they came along. They were ruthless, killing us without giving us mercy. They drove on fear of what we could do to tyem. They never took the time to try to get to know us or understand us. They just wanted us gone and would do anything to make sure of it. They ran us out of our homes. But where would we run to? We had no where to go.

A forest is what we were met with, and that's where we went to hide from them and their ways. For a while we felt safe. We weren't happy though, not in the least, but safe. Sometimes the younger ones would find a way to our forest, feeling bigger than the world and able to take us on. It's quite amusing to see their faces and to see them running away when one of us step from the shadows. But we truly mean no harm.

Then the rumors began. The rumors that the older ones are coming for us, preparing to take us out. Nobody is sure how the rumors started, but it's got everyone on edge. We would leave this wretched forest if we had another place to go, but sadly that's not the case. We're stuck here, surrounded by a magical barrier they created somehow to keep us in.

Up in the mountains where it's always cold, always snowing, and where prey is scarce. There lives two groups of wolves that can take on the harsh environment and conquer their enemies. The two groups of wolves have lived up north in the mountains ever since the first pack settled down by the frozen lake. Four wolves, the Alphas and Betas, had different ideas on how to run a pack. The alphas wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy life the way they wanted. They were lenient on rules and punishments, thinking all wolves are born with great potential and to reach that potential they must learn through their mistakes and from others around them. The betas on the other paw (pun intended) thought that rules need to be enforced and punishments must be enforced just as much as the rules when rules are broken. They wanted every wolf to earn their rank by working hard, by challenging one another, by doing more and more each day. So in secret the betas tried to train the young ones past their full potential, making them do more than they could. During this process, the betas began to think. What if we made our own pack and became alphas, bringing, or forcing others, along with us. And so, again, in secret. The betas wrangled up the strongest and most skilled wolves in the pack, and left the pack to form a new one. The newly formed pack wandered for a while until they found a place high up in the mountains to reside. For a long while, the two packs went on living life and leaving each other alone. But high up in the mountains the betas pack rapidly grew in numbers and skilled fighters. They wanted to show the pack by the lake that they were the best and were to be feared. So late one night, in the cover of darkness and snow, the mountain pack launched an ambush. For two days straight the packs fought one another, mountain pack sending down fighters whenever fighters were needed. Lake pack was outnumbered and loosing numbers fast. Mountain pack killed off the pups, young trainees, and elders, along with many adult wolves. They left only a healer and a few wolves. The leaders of mountain pack had killed off the leaders of Lake pack, leaving lake pack weak and vulnerable. For a long while lake pack was terrorized by mountain pack, having to hunt for them and even hand over pups. But the new alphas of Lake pack wouldn't have it. The started to refuse handing over food and pups, this angered mountain pack. They killed off the male alpha, threatening to kill off the female alpha next. So for years lake pack kept handing over prey and pups. But what mountain pack didn't know was lake pack had made an alliance with many of the outsiders, who also had many problems with mountain pack. Together lake pack and the outsiders retaliated and attacked mountain pack. With their new numbers, lake pack killed off many of the mountain pack wolves. The alphas faced off, only to have it end in an alliance. Lake pack would no longer hand over pups or prey. Mountain pack would no longer terrorize the outsiders or lake pack. But this didn't resolve ecerutging. The two packs still greatly hated one another though, with miner fights breaking out between wolves from each pack.
