Hello, my name is Barricade. I'm currently looking for 1x1 roleplays. I can write a paragraph or more depending on what you give me to work with. Please be aware, I do have a job. I don't get on much when I work doubles. I usually will stay up if I have the next day off. If I forgot about it, just bump it up. I RP in fourms, and will double up if needed. I should say a bit about myself first.. correct?

Anyways! I am (obviously) JulianandBlackberry. But that's kind of long winded.. call me Jay! Sometimes I can be extremely long winded with my role plays, like I can go up to three paragraphs, saying every little detail. Like I could even say what the plaque on my teeth feels like! I am rather enthusiastic, and I tend to chat a lot, but I will ALWAYS put the things I am saying out of character in brackets, or parenthesis. I like to think I have pretty decent grammar and word choice, but then again I might just be blind to my horrible writing. I am an artist in multiple forms! So please don't question it if I try and draw your character to make sure I know what they look like! I do make music, I do write stories frequently. Heck! I have a nineteen paged story in google docs open as we speak! I indent. I indent on every paragraph. Please tell me if you rather me not write a novel about my character, or just in general! I will hardly ever be on, well on weekdays. There is a sliver of a chance I will be on Fridays-Mondays, I will sometimes be on Tuesday & Wednesday but not all that often, but if I'm in an interesting enough roleplay you can guarantee an appearance by me each day.

Just like everybody else here, I'm looking for a 1X1 or two with interested in folks. I haven't RPed in a while due to academics, but I have a gap in academic work right now and I currently have a creative itch/need to write.

About Me
College student in EST looking for a semi-lit RP. I should be able to post at least once per day, and I prefer to keep it around one paragraph per character, though on occasion I will write a bit more. I like to keep any RPs between 2-4 characters (1-2 for each person). I prefer to play male characters over female, though I can do female characters to some limited extent. What I cannot play is any sort of canon character- I'm pretty bad at trying to write other people's characters. However, I am happy tossing the character I want to play into any existing world/universe, as well as you playing a canon character within that universe. I am not looking for these to be romance based, but I will entertain mXm pairings provided that they are not the sole focus of the RP. While I am open to more mature/explicit RPs, I do prefer to keep the main portion of the RP on the fourms here and shift it over to PM as necessary.

What I am looking for
Semi-lit please, somewhere between a 3 and 8 sentence paragraph for your character(s) in a post. Being able to post at least once a day is great, more is even better.

Right now, I am looking for someone to RP with me with any of the following topics:

Superheros/Superpowers
None of the 'high school students with superpowers on the run from the government' those grow old after a while and I've beaten that one into the ground years ago. I have a few different fragmented ideas within this genre:

A general two characters discovering their newfound powers within a world where superpowers are more common. Not much thought put into this one, so it might be able to be tied into another idea.

Another prompt I've had bouncing around about tattoos that give folks superpowers, though they are used in a underground fighting ring. One character is actively participating in this lifestyle, and accidentally drags his [friend/boyfriend/college roommate/ect] into the world by getting them a tattoo that gives them superpowers/abilities/whatever else you'd like to call it.

A third idea would be a woman (my character) has the ability to control ice and water. She has been discharged from the army after an injury which cost her a leg, and struggles with PTSD as well. This takes place in a world where there is a small population of people with superpowers, however, they are unknown by the general population. This woman wants to find other people like her, however, hasn't had any success, and any attempts to talk about magical abilities have had her referred to a psychologist. She is drifting and destructive, and is trying to find a place for herself to fit in, when she meets a man with a strange amulet (your character, the amulet gives the ability to control ice/water, and/or amplifies an existing ability) who can also control ice. I do not intend for this to be a romantic plot.

Last idea for this topic- Two students move into a university dorm, both from out of town, and both have superpowers they've kept hidden. One starts showing himself around town as a new hero, while the other decides to start causing chaos as a supervillian. Both go to extreme lengths to keep their powers and identity secret from the other, and frequently help patch each other up after 'falling down the stairs,' or 'my chemistry experiment exploded,' ect. I don't have too much of a plot for this, but I am eager to explore it! This would be the one RP that I'd be okay with a mXm romance playing a part of.

Plane crash
A pilot (my character) is working for a small aircraft company up north, and is ferrying people between two far apart towns when a mechanical failure necessitates the pilot attempting to land the plane in poor weather conditions, resulting in a crash. He and the other character(s) (this may call for a 4 character RP, 2 characters each) must salvage what they can from the wreck and make their way back to civilization.

Apocalypse
A disease has swept over the world, leaving most of the world's population dead. In the months that have followed, remnants of civilization have sprung up only to fail at the hands of leaders turned tyrants or roving gangs raiding settlements of people for resources. Our characters are a small 2 or 4 person team that roams around, preying on the small towns that have sprung up, however, they have stumbled across a town that has been able to successfully fight them off in the past, and appears to be not only impenetrable to them now, but a nice place to live. They all decide they want to join after much discussion, and must try to work their way into the town, following their somewhat erratic and strict joining rules.
