Aldrien is the secret younger brother of the former King, which unknown to most, makes him the Uncle of the Princess. (Although, he doubts the Princess knows this fact). Both he and his now dead elder brother, had the same father (the old King) but different mothers, therefore making Aldrien the bastard child. (His mother was some unknown servant, who was told to leave the kingdom once Aldrien was born.) He was lucky enough not to be thrown on the streets like his mother, and instead was able to live in the castle as a servant during his adolescence. He was never acknowledged as one of the King's children, & was never given the same privileges, spoils, or luxuries, or recognition as his older brother did. Aldrien basically served the kingdom, always an outsider looking in on his own family. But later on in life, when he was a bit older, he was able to become the understudy to the General of the castle's military defense soldiers, where he learned how to fight & formed brotherly bonds among most of the guards & knights. He had basically lived his life as a mere foot stool to the royal family rather than the equal he thought he deserved to be; and once his father passed away, he gave the crown away to his so called 'only' son. Not even in death did his father value him as one of his own. So his older brother was given the crown, & began to rule the Kingdom; but that man was no where near as good as a ruler as their father was. He was weak, never focusing on what the public needed, was much too obsessed w/ things that weren't important (like what color his bed sheets should be & what wine to serve for dinner) & was too soft/meek to ever rule as, in Aldrien's book, a true King. So eventually, with his charm, determination, & wit, Aldrien persuaded & gathered some of his peers, some suffering peasants, a few mercenaries, & some of the castle's own soldiers to help him take matters into his own hands & form a uprising that would put him on the throne, instead of his brother. (That just proves what level his persuasion & charisma is - he could convince people to see things his way, that he was able to form his own Loyalist group.) The day when the coup d'etat began, it was much more out of hand than Aldrien was expecting. He hadn't ordered anyone to kill his brother, or some of his most loyal servants, only capture them as hostages; but the siege of the throne got so violent, that the King was assassinated by one of Aldrien's loyalist groupies. A few days after, Aldrien was able to take the crown, though not exactly the way he intended to receive it - blood stained, with his own brothers blood. He felt regretful & sorrowful at first, but then quickly realized that what's done is done & he can't change what has happened, only take advantage of it. So he has the crown, the recognition, & the power now, that he's craved & deserved since he was a tiny servant child; the only thing he is waiting for now, is to be reincarnated as the true Crimson King... Only now there's a slight problem - the Princess & now the new heir to the throne, had somehow escaped during the siege. Having no clue where she is, & how the naive teenager escaped, he has been forming an action plan to locate his 'niece'. He believes that she could be the reincarnated Crimson King, & wants to figure out or understand whatever power she has & a way to take that burden off of her, because he believes that a floozy headed child such as she could never truly master the tactics & advances that would come w/ that kind of power. She could never handle that sort of power w/ the sophistication, responsibility, & ease that Aldrien could. Corrupt violence & annihilation wasn't how he wanted or expected to get the crown, but it's too late to change what's done. He hopes that he won't have to resort to such severe violence again, (unlike his brother, who wouldn't even order a maid to swat a fly) but he will he must do what he must do, and whatever he does, he will do it well, with wit, charm, confidence, & grace.

Also, he treats those who serve him w/ respect & fully rewards them w/ riches & praise; but to the people who are uncooperative or disobedient to him, he will make a fool or an example out of
you. There's no more room in the Kingdom for error or mistakes. Unlike the last King,
he isn't afraid to punish those who have committed vile crimes,
deal w/ the ugly parts of society, & he isn't afraid to
make changes where changes are needed; even if that means using force.
His intentions are well-meaning most of the time, but occasionally his
plans get slightly out of hand.

Pavel (Vlad) was born in a small village outside of the kingdom. He was teased all through his childhood by how small he was. Growing up, he invested his time in studying and learning about all the sciences of the world. He learned geography best, loving the studies of the land. He remained secluded from other kids, preferring to stay alone with his studies. He had one friend, Raven, who was an orphan in the village. When he was older, his father gave him a sword and told him to use it well, battles are ugly affairs. Pavel then practiced as much as he could, swinging the blade and defeating his made up enemies. On his 20th birthday, Raven had been killed by bandits. Pavel, filled with rage, vowed to rid the world of evil. He decided to join the royal army where he excelled greatly. Gaining the trust of the king, he became general when he was only 26. His smooth voice could calm a storm yet at the same time shake a mountain when angry. He's kind to his men and women of war, but pushes them as far as they'll go. His strategies are known throughout the kingdom and beyond. He is a hopeless romantic and tends to let his emotions get the best of him, however he rarely shows it. His schizophrenia is only mild at this point, same for the paranoia. But the voices in his head are tempting him to do unspeakable things.

Aldrien doesn't know & has never met Caliban,
but if he did he would probably be pretty smitten
by him, if the circumstances were different.
Dedication, loyalty, & kick ass fighting skills are
all things Aldrien seems to value highly in somone.
(Not to mention, Aldrien would probs feel an
inner 'challenge' to make the green
dragon react or rile him up, just cause Aldrien
would for sure note this man's lack of emotions
& facial reactions right away. He's always
enjoyed the challenge of winning people over)
He also wouldn't understand why someone as
principled & stoic as this guy would want to put
someone as naive, & untrained, as Alanna, on
the throne to fix a country that is already in
shatters. While he might first appear as a
man with many intelligent thoughts, maybe
he wouldn't be as smart as Aldrien would first
judge him to be, considering his decisions.
But getting under this guy's skin or maybe
being the cause for some of his emotions or
thoughts would be a relatively interesting
distraction from some of Aldrien's current
more serious & intense environment. "I've never
really considered green hair & yellow
eyes as physically attractive features
before I saw you, but I'm most definitely
sold now. In my free time, I wouldn't mind
being lectured by you, since I've heard
lecturing is side hobby of yours ~ "

Seraph would definitely be someone who Aldrien
would be interested in, recruitment wise. He
has yet to meet her, or even know that she is
the blue dragon (He knows the dragons exist,
& a basic understanding of the powers they
yield, but he just doesn't know who they are,
name & face wise.) But if he ever did figure
out that she was the blue dragon, he would be
very cautious & uneasy. Having that sort of
control over death is very alarming to Aldrien,
though he wouldn't admit that to anyone other
then the three people closest to him. Persuading
her would be the most dangerous, so he wouldn't
want to have any sort of contact w/ her; and he
would also be very aware that if he made
any sort of small mistake that she could end
his life with just a blink, so for that he would
likely be most very wary of the blue dragon -
especially if she is in power w/ the other
dragons. Once he discovers that she is the
blue dragon, he will definitely be aware that
he should be careful when dealing w/ her.
He'd have to kick his persuasion, charm, &
confidence in full gear if he & his team ever
come into contact w/ her. "With you, looks
could truly kill... What a very impressive
ability that is, for someone as young
as you, Seraph... Also, that 'looks could
kill' thing was supposed to be a joke, just
to you're informed."

Mai is definitely on the top of his most 'important'
people list. He knows he doesn't have to put on
this 'high and mighty' front w/ her, & can voice
his concerns, thoughts, & ideas to her without
worrying about a hidden motive. He knows he
doesn't have to be all 'charm' & 'charisma' w/
her, considering he knows that he has Mai's
support no matter what. Mai is also
half the brains of every one of their operations.
Nothing goes without Aldrien mentioning it
to Mai first, & she's one of the few people
who will give her true thoughts on how
she thinks they should handle or go about
something. He knows she isn't easily swayed
by the thought of glory or riches, & has been
well-educated on a wide array of subjects.
Mai's also seems like the one to keep Aldrien
& the rest of their inner team in check; so
really, he couldn't even imagine anyone who
would be a more sufficient advisor, & friend.
Although, they aren't all business; there are
times when Aldrien will be cheeky & tease
her, but it's all in good fun. He knows when
it's business time, & knows when it's okay to
lighten up, but if he forgets he knows that Mai
will always be there to remind him. He highly
values her opinion & trusts her full-heartily.
He also might call her 'Mother Mai' as a lil
inside joke sometimes, cause she's so
goal orientated & undistracted most the time

a rare combination these days; there's no
way, ever in a million years, that I could ask
for a more perfect Right-Hand-Man... Or
in this case, woman, but you understand

Aldrien in no way, shape, or form wants to harm, dispose of, or kill Alanna. He isn't out for his own niece's blood. They were never really that close, considering she was up in the high quarters, playing dress up & eating fancy cheese's, & he was either scrubbing floors or learning to use a sword & charm his peers; but there were less than a few times the two actually held a conversation, which included a couple of Aldrien's charming jokes & polite obedience. Nari is someone who Aldrien has talked to a few times, since she used to work as a servant in the castle & has been trained by the General. He knows the young girl is no where near qualified as she believes she is to be the bodyguard of the princess; which isn't exactly a problem for him, considering that what Alanna does is no longer his concern, but he knows that Nari lacks the experience & intelligence that a good bodyguard would need. If he ever spoke to her again, he would treat her as if they were 'old pals' or something, even if they weren't really that close; but he wouldn't be too intent on attempting to persuade her to come back to the kingdom & work for him. He doesn't see her or her skills as something he needs, & if she's simply too brainless to see what the old King was doing to the kingdom & it's people, then he truly doesn't need someone like her. She would've stayed to help, instead of frolicking off to go play 'bodyguard' for the runaway princess, if she truly cared about the kingdom. He will be just as charismatic & charming as he is with everyone towards her, but he wouldn't go out of his way to praise, recruit, or befriend her. To call herself a bodyguard is practically a joke. "I remember you, little Nari. You were one of the youngest ones to start off in the military training; I do remember you being as clumsy as ever...How's that 'body guard' occupation working out for someone as small & young as you? Quite well, I presume."

Although he doesn't remember ever meeting Ace personally, he would probably be very impressed w/ his skills & most likely unfazed by his background. If the old King had taken care of those bandits & gangs before they got out of hand, maybe someone like Ace wouldn't have had to live the life he did; so if he ever gets a chance to find out about the guy's background, he will likely present to him the compelling argument on why the seizing of the throne should've happened sooner. He would also definitely make sure it was well-known to Ace that his medical skills & practices would be very helpful to those in Laven. The brunette seems like a 'happy-go-lucky' guy for the most part, & Aldrien has always liked those sorts of people. For the most part, anyways. "If you were one of our medic's, I'm pretty positive Maiara would be falling down all over the place trying to get someone as handsome as you to tend to her ~... But honestly, I will pay you swimmingly & provide all the tools you would need in exchange for your medical skills."

Kalea is another one he doesn't recall ever meeting; but when he does happen to meet her, he would likely spot right away that despite her childish & odd nature, that she is much wiser than she lets on. I dunno how he'd notice, but he just has a knack for spotting crud like that. Aldrien would find her playful nature entertaining for a while, but would probably grow tired of her child-like behavior quite quickly. (But if he ever finds out that she is immortal, he & his Advisor would likely ask too many questions & document the answers to all of them, for research purposes.) Her powers are something that would interest him, but he might have to learn the hard way how powerful she really is. "So you're really truly immortal? What sort of spell or potion did you have to ingest for something as crazed as that? But that is quite extraordinary... I don't even see a single wrinkle or sign of aging on your face, which is very impressive; you must've had quite a lot of lovers flawking for your attention through out your life, hmm? ~"

Livei is one of the dragons who Aldrien has actually known about before the his siege of the throne. He knows that the snow haired man practically owned that village in Krahos. He was loved highly by most of the villages from Krahos, & Aldrien knows this because he has talked to a few who were past residents there. He has never met him though, only knows of him by word of mouth. If he does ever meet him, Livei's high maintenanced personality will be easy for him to spot, considering Aldrien has spent most of his life serving spoiled people like him. The man sorta reminds him of Alanna, in the 'never had to work a day in their lives' aspect, but Livei might be more intelligent than his high strung personality leads most to think, although Aldrien won't be one 100% certain at first. Pissing off this guy would be very easy for him to do, (but unwise, considering Livei's strength) So he would probs turn to the 'charming' negotiation route w/ him, just cause he'd assume that Livei would rather hear about himself than anything. While he might really dislike this guy's spoiled & juvenile personality, he wouldn't let that be evident & would probably make it appear as if he was fond of him, just in an attempt to get on his good side. Aldrien would secretly be concerned & protective over his followers & his team when it comes this guy, considering it would require some very strong & advanced warriors to deal w/ him & his ability, if the situation ever arises. "If you don't mind me asking, why would someone as famous, attractive, & sophisticated as you, leave the comfort of your little village to go tromping through all this chaos? Do you happen to yearn for more than what you had? I could most definitely help you w/ that, more than Alanna could. "

Pavel has been a faithful friend to Aldrien for a while, considering before Aldrien was able to seize the thrown, he was an understudy to the General. Most of the fighting tactics he has learned has been from Pavel. (Although, Aldrien's swordmanship could still definitely use some work) Pavel had whole-heartedly supported him when Adrien conjured his idea to change this kingdom for the better, & the man even helped him convince some of the own castle's soldiers to help him out. So of course, once Aldrien had the throne, he continued to allow Pavel his position as the General. He knows the man has the experience & knowledge on how to control, use, & prepare an army to its fullest potential. Aldrien does tease him a times, (as he does everyone he's close to) for his quiet & 'romantic' nature; but lately, he has noticed Pavel's rather odd behavior. Sometimes the guy seems lost in thought or as if he knows something the rest of the team doesn't. Aldrien doesn't know about his schizophrenia yet, but once he finds out, he will be torn on whether or not to keep him as the Gereral; he'll be torn on whether or not his illness will be a problematic factor. Of course, he thinks highly of him as of right now, because illness or not, the man can control a ferocious army & has been a loyal friend to him for the past few years. He also knows that Pavel is pretty smart & a vital member to the 'team', so the man often gets to voice his thoughts during some major decisions. "I don't know how you got to be so good at leading that army, being the hopeless romantic that you are, but I have to say - Your leadership skills are completely drool-worthy... Or maybe it's your good looks that makes them so loyal & willing to listen... Some people are quite easily swayed by appearances, you know. But who knows, I'm just glad to have you as not only my General, but also one of my closest companions."

I have a similar issue, too, that's why I try coding that will help me limit my ideas and I think it helps a little but it hurts to summarize everything x.x but I think the quotes were nice touch!
And thank you for your opinion on Seraph, I spent forever searching for the right fc and even the theme (which isn't even necessary I know)... i'm just glad making her personality and backstory came out more smoothly and just, agh.
