A scout is a wolf who goes out and patrols in the territory, looking for threats like loners, grizzlies, cougars, etc. they also check for big prey activity (like deer moving through) and will often go out with other scouts to track a big prey item and confirm its location and the general direction it's headed in before a big pack hunt begins.
A lead scout would be in charge of the other scouts and would be responsible for keeping them in line. He or she may also mentor a pup if they wish to become a scout, or they may assign the pup (with the alpha's permission) to another scout.

History (I'd prefer that you have this) - She doesn't like to speak or discuss about it, but just this once;
She had came from a harsh shadowy family she and her brother were the only wolves that had any common sense in the family. As pups they loved to play but she rolled near the edge of a cliff and fell hard onto a rock her head first, and rolled into the lake nearby..She lifted her head but then blacked out and was soon unconscious. The healer's in her family helped her heal and they nurtured the pup back to health but her father pawed her and she had looked up awoken from her black out.She pulled back her ears and her white eyes showed fear.The father growled and snarled yelling "Get up!! now!! your not what a young leaders, pup is supposed to be!!" then kicked the pup away and abandoned her in the forest while she slept later that night
