life is complicated, and finn's is no exception. he was born into a family
where he was not wanted. and that has taken a toll on him his whole life.

growing up in foster care was rough, as is usually the case with the system.
the experience left finn with emotional issues, a reserved personality
and an unfulfilled need to be loved. animals are his only source of
comfort and keep him sane, especially his beagle named duck.

when he was sixteen, he emancipated himself. after that, he lived on his
own with only himself to look out for. now, as a senior, he has been brought
into something completely different, a place with people like him. some
say that finn is too trusting and caring, but he has hope for a better life.
