The young rat that is Bee is all to kind and trusting. With a heart of gold, and
capable of trusting anyone who comes his way, Bee is the ultimate forgiver. He
has no qualms with anything or anyone, and is as open and accepting as rats go.
He not all sunshine and flowershowever, he has a fighting side to him as well.
His large size and massive bulk allow him to tower over others, giving him a
intimidating presence, and an advantage as far as fights go. He is a pacifist by all
means, but is also fiercely loyal, meaning even if it hurts him, he will do whatever
it takes to protect and comfort those he loves. He is too trusting and gullible when
it comes down to it, and can be fooled by a compliment and a kind word, one of
his worst flaws. He does have a remarkably easy time conversing with others though,
and he makes friends very easily, and also gives god advice. He isnt entirely stupid
and foolhardy however, he has a sharp wit when needed, and he is relatively street
wise. All together, he has a good heart, kind and loving attitude towards all of
rodent kind (and some other kinds as well) and a genuine love and care for his
companions, and any one who gets close to him.

Bee lived a good life as a scavenger for the colony, he was good as what he did, and
never had any beef with anyone. He was one of many pups, and had many younger
brothers and sisters to take care of, as well as having many older as well. His family
was general considered a scavenging family, his father was one, his mother was one,
most of his brothers and sisters were scavengers (except his sister Rema, she was a
sentinel, and a scary one at that) Bee was no different, he also grew up in one of
the more religious family's, and therefore has had them ingrained into him since he
was small. He began having visions of his death when he was only a month old. these
visions have scared him, but he has never known what to make of them. He only
began to loose his faith once his mother died, her death was a mystery, she wasn't
that old, and there was never an investigation into it, the authorities simply stated
that it must be the will of the gods. Bee wasn't so sure about this. He feels extremely
betrayed that someone would lie to him about something he believed for so long, and
is still rather sore and biter about it to this day. His vision also became stronger after
his mother died, and he willingly followed Whimbrel, he is dubious about his own role
in the prophecy, but trust Whimbrel well enough, even if he's scared.

Noted as being wise beyond her years, ordinary-looking little Burdock isn't necessarily what one would expect from a youngster. Her sharp sense of smell combined with her exceptional observational skills makes for a doe who is neither quick to trick or to brush things aside. She likes to know exactly what is going on and will often go to great lengths to seek the truth. She isn't always follow the rules but if she must break them then she does so for a good reason. Burdock is the kind of rat that will stand up for what she believes in and will not bow down.

Despite having a grand knowledge for all things green, Burdock is still only a youngster and is such still has several qualities prominent in rats her age. Her insatiable curiosity for example, which is driven by her thirst for knowledge and to discover new things, has caused to wander far on her own and subsequently get into trouble. However, she isn't one to repeat a mistake and will always process and file away any bad experiences for later. Still, where possible Burdock will not allow her wanderlust to cloud her common sense and more often than not she will assess a situation before allowing herself or her comrades to jump in headfirst. She cares for her friends deeply and considers them to be her family; if anything again were to happen to someone who has poured all their faith and trust into her because of a foolish mistake on her part, she could never forgive herself.

Burdock started life out as a scavenger within the colony, working alongside her brothers and sisters. Though not necessarily the runt of the litter, Burdock was still considerably smaller and much more energetic than them. But to her foraging was a boring pastime, especially for a young curious doe who was distracted by everything. To begin with she'd slip away just to find some adventure but later, as she began to discover the beauty of some of the ordinary plants that grew within the colony's territory. Very quickly and quite by accident she discovered that many of them possessed special properties that helped to ease common ailments and problems in both herself and her fellow rats. She saw value in these plants and spent many hours trying to explore and exploit these properties for the benefit of the Elfolk.

Her family, like many others, did not approve of her newfound passion for plants. Many would destroy her inventory when she was away, others accused her of sorcery when word got out that she could mend a bleeding foot or a bad cough with a few chewed up berries and stems. Lies were stirred up. When it was found that her remedies were doing a much better job at healing the sick than the god's toxic words, the authorities confiscated her herbal contraband and reassigned her to a post that involved bringing food to the sick and elderly. This attempt to muzzle her did not work however, and with the help of her buck-friend Acorn, she successfully smuggled in more herbs to help treat those whom had been abandoned by the gods.

Weeks went by and Burdock quickly encountered the sickness that spread to the burrows. Though the efforts of the two young rats weren't quite in vain, the herbs were not quite strong enough to cure the afflicted. They could only ease the symptoms. Unfortunately Acorn too contracted the disease. She went overboard trying to save him and in her desperation accidently picked and fed him the wrong plant, poisoning him. She was forced to watch as her friend withered away, suffering a slow, painful death.
From then on Burdock could no longer stand to stay; there was nothing left for her in this hellish place. After being told of her role in Whimbrel's prophecy she jumped at the chance to finally start her life anew and forget her miserable start in life.

History: He was the guard of the Elffolk, completely ready to give his life up to save them. That was until, of course, they found that the gods they trusted were fake.
Personality: He's a bump on a log until you get to know him, trying to fill out his role perfectly.
After they left, though, he loosened up, though he still thinks it's his duty to protect the one's fleeing from the colony.
