okay, so i revamped nico a bit. mostly his backstory.
he's now completely finished.

nicolas romero is the child of an southerner and a mainlander. his mother, due to her hate of the island, fled and found herself on the coast of mexico, where she met nico's father tomás and started a new life. now nico has found him on the island that used to be his mother's home and doesn't know what to think. on one hand, he is in awe of the island's beauty and on the other weary of it. nico was raised a catholic, so he definitely doesn't think it was a coincidence that he ended up on solline. as for personality, he's a mess. his life up until the cruise was a big flop. he worked as a mechanic in los angeles (after his family immigrated to america) and nothing was really working out for him. he has a type a personality, so he's stressed easily, often due to the fact that he is always rushing. his time management skills are very bad. he's always been a people person, who's very action-oriented, but as of late, he has become more quiet.

@deffs oooooh, i can totally see caius oddly warming up to nora, even though he may not like her mom very
much since she's still a stranger/mainlander. even though he's pretty abrasive, he has a weird soft spot for
children. i think their relationship would be cute. cx

savanna & nora usually wary of mainlanders, ioa is
oddly comfortable around savanna and her baby.
although, due to her work with wild animals, has zero
experience with babies and gets very agitated and
protective when nora does something she doesn't
understand.
keao her best friend since they were young.
they both had a thing for creepy crawlers, which
inspired ioane to track beasts for a living. they often
disappear together to go cause shenanigans. ioane
is also keao's partner in crime in conspiring against
her father's potential suitors.
evermore doesn't get along with her, at all.
they're too different in personalities, and ioane
avoids the other girl at all costs.
weston a friend of hers, however she often
finds herself treating him like a little brother,
despite their same age.
nari a mainlander that seemed to take a
liking to ioa, which she doesn't quite understand.
ioane often says painfully honest things to her
and often asks her ridiculous questions. she gets
very confused when the girl is around because
she simply can't comprehend the reasoning behind
it.
ＴＩＤＧＥ ＫＡＬＥＨＵＡ

caius tidge follows him around like a lost puppy. he
has the utmost respect for caius and looks to him for
advice and training. he's like a big brother to him,
something tidge always wanted.
savanna & nora he's probably going to be extra
wary of her, simply because she's from the mainland.
teagan tidge will probably have a lil crush on
her. nothing huge, more like 'wow this girl is so awe-
some n cute' and blushy blushy kind of thing which
probably has a potential to grow eventually 'cause
he's clingy  . he assumes a girl like her would never
notice him so he kinda just admires her from the
sidelines.
felix an old pal, before felix left for the
northern tribe. tidge will never understand why he
did it and probably tries to convince him to return
every now and then. overall, though, he couldn't
bear breaking off the friendship.

[ asael ] '\\ seems like a hypocrite, being both righteous and vain. that and the fact that he's an
intruding mainlander both put tate off. \\ neg.

[ keira ] '\\ tate doesn't know what to think of her. keira's quiet observance puts him on edge, mostly
because he knows the girl does have a few tricks up her sleeve. he's often wary of her. \\ neut.

[ weston ] '\\ tate greatly admires weston. his compassion is something that tate strives for, but
he can understand weston's blunt honesty. tate himself has an unstoppable directness
as well, so he can sympathize with his sometimes misunderstood truths. \\ very pos.

[ kenya ] '\\ her open heart and accepting nature is so opposing to tate that he can't help but
to admire her. he occasionally thinks her foolish, but that just makes him want to protect

[ ioane ] '\\ tate doesn't really like ioa. her crude recklessness is unrefined, and while she does have
an important passion, he doesn't respect her wild nature discredits her. \\ neg.

[ tidge ] '\\ since tate is just naturally protective, he feels tidge's anxiety in the south. while he's aware
of his past, he wants tidge to feel at home here. tidge's following manner
feeds tate's ego, so he likes to keep the younger boy around. \\ pos.

[ savanna ] '\\ despite his inert hatred for the mainlanders, his heart goes out for the young mother. she
seems so gentle yet strong, he has a great deal of respect for her during this
time of struggle. \\ pos.

[ nora ] '\\ tate couldn't ever feel negatively for the sweet little toddler. his love for her often reflects
and is shared with her mother, savanna. tate naturally wants to keep her safe
and shelter nora. \\ pos.

[ nari ] '\\ although a mainlander, tate is very interested in nari. very like-minded, he also has a more
passionate streak that sometimes gets the best of his temper. he finds her cold
intellect very attractive, yet he feels guilty for liking a mainlander. his morals

ioane, has been her best buddy for as long as she can remember.
keao spends a good chunk of her days getting into trouble with h
er closest friend.
felix, she admires his abilities to make strong decisions and act
on them. she tries hard not to be too rough around the edges whe
n around him, but slips up every now and then.
savanna/nora, keao wishes that she could help both the mother
and the daughter--but she's not sure how she could. she tries to be
kind to the both of them in hopes that it will be enough.
tate, she does not find his attitude towards the mainlanders ho
norable in anyway--and she makes sure to be very vocal about her
beliefs. she is quite certain that as long as he's acting the way he
is, he will never be a 'brother' of hers.
kenya, thinks her compassion is only kenya patronizing her, k
eao never appreciates it, and always pushes her away whenever t
he girl offers her help.

Ok everyone, i finally finished sola, sorry it took so long :}
sola is a generally harsh and unforgiving person, and she is
biased and set in her ways, but she's not all bad, while it
can be hard for her to properly make friends, that doesn't
mean she doesn't want to! (they would just have to learn
to put up with her constant criticism and general hate)

is nice on the inside, but doesn't know how
to show it. she would stay away from marissa

more as like a sister. they have the same type
of personality, and i think evermore's sense of
humor would amuse ken to no end. pos.

asael i honestly do not think these two have
anything in common, therefore i don't think
they will talk much. kenya would be open to
being friends, however. neu.

keira kenya is very wary of keira. she knows
not to mess with the girl and her manipulative
ways, and tries not to bring that negative energy
in her life. neg.

weston kenya would respect weston to no end,
considering his curious and outgoing personality.
the icing on the cake for her is his compassion
and love towards animals. pos. / possible ♥︎

ioane ioane would excite kenya. ken would def.
never do the things she does, but i think she
would admire ioane for being so fearless and
going out to research the animals. pos. / neut.

tidge aww, lil tidge. kenya would definitely take
him under her wing and care for him, if he lived
in the north. i think if they ever interact, it will
definitely be positive, and ken would just fall in
love with him. pos.

savanna & nora it would be absolutely love at
first sight for kenya. if there is a way to ken's heart,
it's through children. she would respect savanna for
everything she does for nora, but at the same time
be a little jealous of the mother/daughter bond. pos.

nari yikes. i definitely think kenya would want to
see the good in nari, but she knows deep in her
heart that nari isn't good for her. i think kenny
