Hailing from the beautiful, yet bustling city of Seoul, South Korea is a youn
g adult by the name of Shellie Kim. She stands only at a height of 5'9, with p
ale, porcelain type skin, a lithe frame, naturally dark hair and eyes. Though
her hair is often dyed a different color at the ends, for fun, of course. Shellie
also has her ears pierced, one pair of regular lobe piercings, a second piercing
on her right ear, along with an industrial piercing on her right ear as well. Eve
n as a child, Shellie has always been a quiet, almost shy girl, someone with a
personality riddled with insecurities, low self-esteem and a soft- spoken attitude.
She enjoyed the warmth other people radiated and often gravitated towards those
who were willing to protect her, when she felt like she couldn't herself. Unsure o
f when that changed, Shellie found herself often pretending while she grew up, un
til it became her true and dominant personality. She began to front towards the p
ublic eye, and more often than not, attempted to become louder, more assertive
and very happy go lucky, yet had an innocent Façade. To too many people, nothi
ng is ever wrong for Shellie. She always seems extremely happy, putting on an eye
smile and expecting everyone to believe that everything is alright, that nothing is
wrong, and that she is perfectly okay each and every day. And yet, hidden under
neath all the fronting and pretending, is still the same young girl, afraid, lonely and
terrified of what it might seem like to show herself to the public. Her biggest fear
is to seem submissive and weak to the public eye; but subsequently, Shellie never r
eally had good connections or relationships either. Part of Shellie hates how far thi
ngs have progressed, but she feels trapped with no way out, without exposing herse
lf and her insecurities and flaws. She hates her flaws. (Who doesn't, however?). Dance
brings out Shellie's true feelings, her movement is often sharp, strict, yet dramatic
and full of unhindered emotions. Shellie dances most to Korean Pop music, and on oc
casions will also sing or rap along with the music.

wren | the best friend | pos xwren is addie's best friend, and has been since she can remember. they're a bit different, personality wise, but opposites attract, right? growing up in the little antique town of baybridge, wren and atlas were the kind of best friends who did just about everything together. as everyone may know(because of addie's form), atlas didn't have a very nice childhood. wren knows every little detail about addie's past life, and is one of two people that truly knows what happened.

shellie | the cousin | pos/neu xlet's start out with the fact that atlas is jealous of shellie's amazing dance skills. addie knows of shellie's insecurities, and often wonders why she even has so many insecurities; she's beautiful! the two get along well, and shellie is probably her favorite of all of her cousins(she can't stand the others!). atlas enjoys spending time with shellie, and looks forward to the summer, one of the few times she actually gets to see her cousin

dexter | the other half | pos xone whole year. one whole year the two have been together. dexter is quite literally her other half and there's no doubt that atlas is madly in love with this boy, he makes it hard not to be. from his killer smile to his inescapable hazel eyes, dexter is a man with charm that draws her in. while he's a bit more on the gentler side of things, atlas is more of a bomb waiting to go off. dexter is sort of like her anchor, always being there for her when she needs him. the only really bad part about this relationship is that, for the most part, dexter is unaware of addie's horrible past.

tobias | the best friend's boyfriend | pos/neu xnow, atlas doesn't necessarily know tobias, but she does know that he is one of two of her boy friend's best friends. that said, he and max are often around, and atlas has become quite used to and comfortable around the boys. not only is he around dexter, but he is also often around wren, as the two are dating.

max | the boyfriend's best friend | pos/neu xmax is practically the male version of wren, knowing nearly everything there is to know about atlas. being that max is wren's sibling, the three were often together, making their lives based upon one another. of the two people that truly know what happened in her childhood, max is one of them. this boy is basically her brother, and she often sees him due to the fact that he is addie's boyfriend's best friend.

to put it simply, atlas lived a trashy life. she was thrown into a foster home at the age of seven, and her foster parents never really took proper care of her. they never attempted to bond with her, and they never took the time to give her the proper care a parent should. addie's foster father was a heavy drinker, and would often come home drunk, only to do multitudes of things to atlas while her foster mother sat idly by, allowing it to happen.

she was emancipated at the age of sixteen, to which she had saved up her own money to get up and move into a small apartment in baybridge. she still goes to school, fully intending to go to college and get a degree. as funny as it may seem, the girl who shop lifts wants to become a detective for the local police department. her love for law and the justice system came about after her experience with her foster parents, a need to help people who have similar situations a strong desire.

now, atlas is a girl who, aside from constantly getting in trouble and being cute with dexter, can be found surfing on the blue waves of baybridge or playing piano in her room. she enjoys writing her own music, lyrics and notes. she works two jobs, in a cafe and in a library, where she earns the money she needs for bills, schooling, and other necessities.
