Our nation is falling apart.
With the queen dead, and the king missing, disaster is approaching. Neither the prince nor the princess have reached age where they can officially be considered a ruler.
The two heirs, only being about ten at the time, had to be isolated inside the castle for their safety. And it worked effectively, for a while anyway.
It became known that assassins had managed to infiltrate the castle, and it was impossible to tell who they were because they had disguised themselves as common people within the household.
With danger closer than ever to the heirs, four knights have been assigned to protect them at all costs, even death.

Erio, at the age of ten, ended up being isolated inside the castle. No one ever told her why she was forced to stay inside, at the time at least. She was fine with it at first, but she slowly began to get upset due to it. Many times, she tried to sneak out, but only once did she successfully escape.
When she returned after getting lost, she was terrified of the outside world. She refused to tell anyone about what happened, except for her brother.
Not long after her return, she took an interest in painting.

➳Personality: Shiro is a very mysterious person. She is never afraid to do things, and will always take risks. She is very stubborn, always wanting to do things her way. She has learned to never trust, and has a sharp tongue; she can lie her way out of many situations. When she speaks, she seems to take a different personality to hide her true personality. Many people find her mysterious and intriguing, as they are always trying to guess her true intentions. Shiro never let's people get close to her as in the past they have betrayed her, but her trust can be won. Yet she usually isn't ever relaxed, anything that moves could be a threat. Sometimes she can be scary, as even a small glare could intimidate some foes.
➳History: Shiro never lived an easy life. When she was young, she had witnessed the murder of her family and others of her town. She managed to slip away, but was later captured. She was then put in a group, where she was beat and had to hurt others. This damaged her mind, making her closed off to others. Though, she did manage to make a friend who helped her escape. They eventually left and lived in a small village. For a few years she felt safe, until that person betrayed her and nearly killed her. She, on the other hand, was able to defeat him. She then lived wandering alone, surviving many other hardships, before she found herself one of the assassins at the heartland of the kingdom.

Personality: Trust. What is Trust? There has only ever been one person he has ever truly trusted in his life- she is dead. He is honest to no one but himself. He tends to be very mysterious and unknown. It is near impossible to figure him out. He cares little about others. He will come off as cold, rude, self centered. However, if you do manage to become his friend he will do everything in his power to protect you. Loyalty means all to him, that and Respect. He is also a very stubborn person. It is hard to get him out of his ways but it truly is possible. In truth though, there is a very kind and caring person inside him some where. It will just take quite a while to get to.

History: A secretive child, Niko was raised from birth to be cautious of every word spoken, every person, every gift. He was taught that nothing came for free, and that he had to work, by himself, to achieve everything. Keeping heads down and working hard was the way his family got through life- back then anyway. He has excelled in both physical and academical areas, and he is sly and cunning to prove it, handy in a fight. However, Niko is extremely hotheaded, and may struggles to get a clear head if it looks like he's losing or he won't get his way. He may not be perfect, but he makes a pretty decent living.
