- hello, lovelies. everyone above this post has
had as much as i deemed final added to the
front. of course, i'm very willing to change
whatever errors i have made since i make
mistakes and plenty of them. please please
please let me know if i messed something up
for your character, or i did not update your
character when you have finished editing. i
am a tad forgetful and v lazy, so i might have
seen your character but never got around to
updating their information.
on another note, i'm not sure if it was unclear
or anything, but the npc's (non-playable chars
aka the first four shinki on the discussion thread)
are simply background characters to add some
substance to my flimsy plot. notice that if your
god does take on one of these regalia, they will
be subjected to blight and eventually rebirth. the
doctor (just refer to him as that for now for
simplicity's sake) will likely be referenced more
than the others as he is the one providing methods
for the shinki to hide their own corruption from
the gods.
---
tl;dr alert me of errors i've made on the front.
the npc's are mostly just around for reference
but can be used to add drama by causing blight
and eventually rebirth to their god(s).
---
as for me, i've got to finish up kyrian and moryna's
forms. i'm also considering making a side character
river spirit that likes godly gossip just for kicks. i'm
also very tempted to make a shinki, but probably
not until later if this manages to get somewhere.
anywho, both are open for regalia. they are twins
born from the same wish for revenge with moryna
being the desire and kyrian being the action.
kyrian is very strict compared to most gods with his
shinki and has a blight once you're out kind of policy.
he's the type to either have a whole bunch of shinki
(pretty much for the sole purpose of fighting moryna
since they very rarely get along due to their opposing
ideals and manner of doing things) or just one or two.
he's rough and gruff on the outside, but he normally
does what's best for everyone despite his grumbling.
although i imagine that he's portrayed and viewed as
a bad/calamity god by humans and gods alike, he is
not at all like that and serves to balance "good" and
"evil". though, he's done some questionable things in
the past in the eyes of the heavens.
his symbol is a raven.
moryna, on the other hand, is more laidback and a
beer and friends kind of person. despite being the
god of vengeance, she's much more forgiving than
kyrian and has better self control. she is more the
type to have a larger clan fam of shinki and leans
towards being a war god. she willingly takes on
others' burdens and is prone to biting off more than
she can chew. she is looked upon as the favorable
twin, but when provoked, her ferocity and desire
to win is much stronger than kyrian's could ever be.
in mythology, she's normally portrayed as a male
deity and very rarely female.
her symbol is a hawk.
