About
Tame a Dragon is a How to Train your Dragon Roleplay were you are your own character trying to tame, train, or other things with your/soon to be yours dragon. This roleplay surrounds the BDS, or Berk Dragon Sanctuary. Your character will surround that universe with Other BDS, and HtTYD fans. You will learn to train you dragon, make friends, and maybe even go on an adventure on the isle of Berk.

Rules
Respect one another We all should be good friends, be it even if our characters are not. Follow the Site Rules, RP Basics. Don't criticize each-others Character designs or Dragons, Godmod, Spam, Powerplay, or any of the like. Don't leave anyone out either.

All Roleplay skills are Welcome I generally design roleplays to be open to all skills. Be it Your a beginner and can only type 1 - 3 lines, to a semi-lit who can only type a paragraph, to the Literate who can type up to pages of info. As long as you don't go overboard with your posts or don't put any effort.

Don't post to often or to little Make sure two to three people have posted inbetween you at the least. I would prefer if you'd stick to only 1-2 posts a day, and a minimum of 1 post every other day. Keep active so others don't leave you behind, but not to active so you don't leave others behind.

Your Dragon(s) Must be adopted from BDS to appear in the roleplay. This way the types and amount of dragons in the roleplay is fair. Your allowed to join without a dragon, and tame your dragon later on but it still has to be from BDS. Any and all of your BDS Dragons are allowed. You don't have to be apart of BDS to join though.

NPC Characters Characters from the movies and animation like Hiccup cannot be controlled by one individual. These characters will be considered NPC's and are playable by everybody on needed times of the roleplay. As long as you stick to there personalities and what not, you can play them as you feel- granted that there interacting with your character, and for a reason. These characters will probably not play any major role in the roleplay.

Zero Eugene Fethre
Nickname:: Ditz (more or less an insult by his siblings) ; Zero II

Occupation:: Hunter/Trapper ; Brings food home for the village.

Weapon/Tool:: Doesn't usually have a weapon, however if he did it would be a Halberd of some kind. Usually he carries around miscilaneous Tools for hunting, Bait, Traps, rope, and a lantern. He has a knife, but he doesn't use it for anything but carving wood.

Personality:: Although he has a Sharp intelligence, and he lacks the effort to use it sometimes. This action is generally called being a bit loose. He's often finding himself relaxing and doing things that should be rather considered not for men. Reading, writing, picking flowers. er... well you get the picture. He does a lot of things to his hearts content, and forgets to hide it sometimes. Zero's a klutz, and definitely has his fair share of injuries from being one as well. Often falling into traps and the like. It's generally how he makes friends and solve his problems anyhow. Despite his feminine appearance and actions. He has been found to be highly competitive and do stupid things he should think through from time to time. Basically he's a goof who likes his hair, and isn't afraid to be who he is- sometimes.

Physical Characteristics:: Zero generally stands to be about five feet tall and four inches. About the size of a teenage girl. Sometimes he can pull of an extra inch or two when he wears certain boots with thick or high heels but that's only with the boots on. His weight averages around one hundred and two pounds, give or take a pound once and a while of coarse. He is very slim, and doesn't retain much muscle in his upper body, but has decently muscled legs. Not generally the best for Hunting, but has doe=ne him good when it came to running away from dragons. He has long blonde hair that reaches just below his waist without the ponytail in, and above his waist with the pony tail. The top of his hair, only in the back, is short and often spiked out at the same length as his bangs- not very noticeable with his hair down. His eyes are a bright blue and rather big.

He usually wears a fur outfit from head to toe. A soft white ferret skinned yoke covering a dark black furred tunic that covers his neck and goes all the way down to his knees, is open in the front from his knees to his waist. He wears a tool belt with tons of satchels lining the side and a big one on the back, pants that look like deer skin, but is sheep wool, and fur boots that go up to his calves. Zero also wears dark elbow finger-less gloves, and on sides of his arms a lizard skinned armor plate with spikes. He hangs some fox fur tails from his side.

Everlaster
Nickname:: N/A
Gender:: Female ♀
Age:: Just a bit younger then Zero
Species:: Monstrous Nightmare
Occupation:: Practically Zero's Guard Dog.
Personality:: Everlaster is fairly protective of Zero, in fact so far as to keep him away from his own job. Be it keeping him out of the river for fishing, going to the woods for hunting, or even going generally anywhere without this dragon following him there. Often times Zero has to give her a job to do to get some privacy or to spend time with the other dragons. She is very stubborn and often judges those that are around Zero.
Physical Characteristics:: Everlaster is a red dragon with dark read wings, and bright orange, yellow, and brown markings. She has dark horns, claws, and fins. Her eyes are a brownish orange and her teeth have a red stain to them.


Torment
Nickname:: Fluffy
Gender:: Male ♂
Age:: Same age as Zero
Species:: StormCutter
Occupation:: A lazy dragon, but is supposed to help hunt food for the village.
Personality:: Quite lazy. Relaxed and gentle. He only wants to be with Zero. Be it flying through the sky or exploring a new cave. This Dragon is always happy to be by his rider's side. A little scared from time to time of things. Especially metal, chains and and loud noises, and people with bad intentions or seem shady. Will often notice when something negative or positive is going to happen and respondes to this with emotion. Fluffy is Really intelligent and can do many things just as well as Zero can.
Physical Characteristics:: Is a deep orange red shade all the way down his body, his belly, chin, and the webbing for his wings are a cloudy orange color except for his tail in which has a stripy dark orange and lighter orange pattern to it. His back horns and claws are a dark grey-black, and his head horns are a brown metalic like color. It looks like he has an almost cat like pattern on his face hind legs, and edges of his wings. His tail also has cat like stripes to it. His tail legs, and neck have large scars acrossed them from what looks like bindings. Zero gave him his large white scarf to hide the one on his neck. He he also has a red marking, looks like a tattoo, a crossed his chest. Its the japanese kanji to fire, but to Zero it looks like a burning man.

Personality:: Peachy has retained tons of her baby qualities, her orneriness and pouting especially.

Weapon/Tool:: She prefers a large battle axe, but always carries a dagger or two just in case.
Personality:: Kel is a no-nonsense kind of girl who can easily hold her own against some of the strongest men in Berk. She's rugged and likes to work with her hands, which is how she got into blacksmith-ing. To be honest, she was thrilled when Hiccup left the workshop- it meant that she had fewer messes to clean up. >.> Despite her stoney personality towards other vikings, she has a real soft spot for her dragons.

Tűz
Nickname:: N/A
Gender:: Male
Age:: (Uncertain about lifespan) 3(?) years
Species:: Changewing
Occupation:: Sentry
Personality:: Tűz is very curious by nature. He likes to sniff around and discover new things, and is always happy to be around people. Despite the relative ease with which he can be distracted, Tűz was named as a sentry for his species' unique camouflaging ability. He's very friendly, but be careful if you have any fish! He'll gobble up every morsel you have in an instant.
Physical Characteristics:: Tűz has dark mahogany-red scales and a slightly lighter underbelly. His 'leaves' are a reddish-orange, and his spines are an almost black form of red. His eyes are a bright yellow.

Blackened Soul
Nickname:: Soul
Gender:: Female
Age:: (Uncertain about lifespan) 14(?) years
Species:: Monstrous Nightmare
Occupation:: Helps with heat at the blacksmith's workshop.
Personality:: Trust me when I say that her bite is just as bad as her bark. Soul doesn't trust most people, and can be aggressive and ferocious. Most of the vikings stay away from her, which she certainly appreciates.
Physical Characteristics:: Soul has black and silver scales that shimmer in the light and amber eyes. Her horns are grey, but her claws are black as night.

Caffara Mae Ovalle

Nickname:: Caf
Gender:: Female
Age:: 16
Occupation:: None yet (moved to Berk very recently, will have to get a job soon)
Weapon/Tool:: While one may joke that Caffara's riding whip is her real weapon, she wields a spear at all times - it is, in her opinion, a superior weapon.
Personality:: Caffara comes from a wealthy family, and moved to Berk in search of adventure (and dragons, of course). She's really quite naïve, as well as being cocky and arrogant. She overestimates herself quite a bit, it's true. However, she's incredibly animal-savvy, and energetic and friendly as well. A social butterfly, Caffara seeks to full immerse herself in the culture on the island. She's bold and brave and willing to fight for whatever she believes in, her hot-headed temperament getting her far in any pursuit she chooses. Her immaturity and recklessness, however, make her a poor candidate for a leader.
When Caffara is frightened she tends to cover it up with anger and irritability - though bear in mind that when she really gets angry she tends to blow up fast. It never takes her long to cool down, though, and she has a hard time holding grudges. Really, all in all, Caffara's a very happy person. She tries to be kind and avoid the "snobby rich kid" stereotype, but often her jokes go a bit too far.
Physical Characteristics:: Caf tends to dress in light blue - it's her favorite color, after all! She looks - well, her facial features are detailed in the drawing above. As for her build, she's built averagely but on the stronger side. Her shoulders and hips are wide, with a prominent, open chest. She's well-set with no major physical flaws, standing at approximately 5'7".

Inquisitive

Nickname:: Ink
Gender:: Male
Age:: 5 years (? please correct me if I'm wrong, he's an older adolescent)
Species:: Deadly Nadder
Occupation:: In Training
Personality:: Ink was named appropriately - he's incredibly curious. He's brave about most things, but new animals scare him badly, for whatever reason. He tends to be mischievous with his owner, though acts much better when in public. Still, he's very willing and friendly with most everyone, especially other dragons - he loves to romp and play, though has many bite marks from when he took it too far and got a fair punishment. He doesn't shoot spikes often except in play, but he's very touchy about his face and often can be made to fire a magnesium blast just by slapping his nose a few times. He doesn't like to hunt, though, and much prefers his food dead for whatever reason. Still, don't mistake this for him being lazy; this is a dragon who needs lots of exercise!
Physical Characteristics:: Ink is a well-built Nadder, with appropriate proportions. The only flaw he has is that he has several scars on his neck and sides (mostly harsh reprimands from other dragons). These are not terribly evident, however, and overall he is a decent specimen of his species.

Gunnvor

Nickname:: Gunn
Gender:: Female
Age:: 12ish
Species:: Razorwhip
Occupation:: Barn Sweetheart
Personality:: Gunnvor, meaning cautious, is a name perfectly suited to this rare beauty. Gunn is very gentle and quiet most of the time; she rarely seems to have an opinion on anything. Granted, when she does get scared the first thing she does is fling wayward barbs (luckily for Caf, her aim isn't very great). She seems to have great maternal instincts, and will probably make an excellent mother when she's old enough to take on that responsibility. Until then, she's a reserve dragon and project for Caf - in the meantime, she'll keep Ink company.
Physical Characteristics:: Gunn is on the smaller side for a Razorwhip, and extremely skinny at the moment. She has a good structure, but her muscle mass and weight definitely could use improvement.

Tynan

Nickname:: Ty
Gender:: Male
Age:: 3
Species:: Typhoomerang
Occupation:: Wiping out Berk's poultry industry
Personality:: Tynan is the epitome of mischief, plain and simple. He doesn't take much too seriously, and is generally immature, goofy, and playful. He is a poor listener and perhaps not very smart, but can be quite clever when it comes to finding ways to break rules. For all of his destructive behavior, though, he's very adventurous and brave. He's got a big, bold personality, in short.
Physical Characteristics:: Tynan is very lithe in build, though due to his gluttony when it comes to stealing food he's put on some weight. He's built averagely with a few physical flaws in conformation but nothing major.

All of these characters are Awesome XD I'm adding your characters to the first post by this afternoon. I'll start the role play soon probably in the next day or so I need to round some stuff up. (OH GOSH, Zero's the only guy so far isn't he... o-o;) I should advertise in my signature.

Erm.. I suppose the age thing is rather confusing. Sorry bout that. Would you like me to remove it, or should we all compare our dragon's to a specific animal?
