Izaya Orihara, a man of violence and craziness. In other words he's a delinquent, a man who enjoys playing with other peoples emotions. He's seventeen and fully male if you haven't noticed already. He is a skilled underground information broker and he usually gives information for his own enjoyment, and he claims to love the entire human race even though he toys with them like pawns. He was born on May Fourth which makes his zodiac the Taurus, he stands at 175 cm and weighs about 58 kg. He isn't muscular nor is he lanky, he has more of an average build. Izaya claims to love humanity, although his definition of "love" is much different than one would assume. What he specifically loves about humanity is the unpredictability of human nature, and he greatly enjoys putting people in enjoyable or chaotic situations in order to observe their reactions. Izaya is cunning and charming, but his manipulative nature prevents him from making any genuine or lasting bonds with others. He has a very jolly and mocking personality, speaking informally with most people as if they are close friends and often using nicknames. He likes to play twisted versions of checkers (usually using a combination of Chess, Othello, and Shogi pieces) with himself in his apartment, often using the chessboard as a representation of the battles in Bunkyō giving him the fitting appearance of one who watches over the world and controls the actions of others. The rules he plays by are also beyond normal people, which seems to be a metaphor for the way he lives his life. He does not take his chess games to be a serious representation of the world, however, as he usually prefers to observe people acting as they see fit instead of controlling them, and he even once set fire to his chess set in his excitement. Although Izaya enjoys conflict, often showing up wherever there is potential for one, he usually stays out of it, preferring to observe the fight instead of directly taking part in it. However, when provoked, he quickly puts his opponent in his place by simply proving his superiority without actually beating the other person. Therefore, he is usually seen as the one starting fights but hiding in the shadows instead of directly taking part. His sexuality is unknown but he does know that he leans more towards males, he likes to play basketball which would explain how he managed to get into the Academy in the first place.

Kazumi Tetsuya, a quiet and nerdy boy. In other words he is an unsocial boy who is always at the top of his class with straight A's. He's sixteen years young and fully male if you haven't noticed already. He was born on November Sixth which makes his zodiac the Scorpio, he stands at 173 cm and weighs about 63 kg. He isn't muscular nor is he even close to having an average structure, he is more on the skinny side though he does have a bit of muscle on him. Since his early childhood, Kazumi has been a calm, collected, and solitary person, who is quite mysterious. Kazumi is portrayed as being somewhere between merely stoic and matter-of-fact, rarely ever smiling or showing emotion at all. He also has a tendency of holding grudges and being rather intimidating. He is usually expressionless and very rarely does he get surprised or enthusiastic; but whenever he does, it's often at the minimum level. Kazumi is also intelligent and analytical, he makes sure that he stays at the top of his class and studys even if there isn't a test. When he is around his cousin, Kazumi tends to show more emotions. Mainly which are annoyance and at certain times blushing, since his cousin knowns how to get him to blush. He keeps to himself and tends to avoid conversations with others. But if you manage to befriend this unsocial boy, he will end up opening up to you more and will start to show more emotions. He is a homosexual but only his cousin knows of that, he likes to play basketball which would explain how he managed to get into the Academy in the first place, same like his cousin Izaya.
