First impression you get from Sawyer can either be a good or bad
one, he can come off as quite charming and a bit of a smooth ta
lker and other times he can come off as controlling or too serious
for some peoples tastes. As a boy he grew up quite privileged, his
father owned quite a few logging companies and a few casinos out
in the US. He was born and raised in Canada, they lived on a very
large estate with a large house but it more looked like a fancy ca
bin then anything. He grew up playing in the woods and riding hor
ses, playing polo and fox hunting at the club was another big thin
g for him. Even though Sawyer has money and lives the high class
life he shows no need to stand out because of it, he prefers if peo
ple don't know he has money. Being invited to Kingsman was not s
omething he thought of doing and at first he said no but somethin
g in him changed and he decided to go. Only a few days in they w
ere all told to pick a dog. Something that he didn't expect and he
wished he had more time to do research on dog breeds before han
d but as he stepped forward and looked at the dogs he shook his h
ead a lot of them. Too cuddly, too small, ugly, and then he stared
at the black and brown pup who took interest in chewing at the b
ars. Opening the cage he picked the heavy pup up by the scruff an
d looked at him. "You will do." He would smile as the thing tried to
lick his noes. He was proud of Escobar, he did very well in some tr
aining activities and training missions, unlike some of the dogs.

Esther wasn't born in France but after her father died her mother moved back home and she grew up there all her life. She had only been to England once as a little girl and told her mother that she hated it, especially the people, her mother laughed and told her that she didn't have to come back. Her mother was often with richer men, men that Esther didn't really like either. They would bring her cookies and presents, like that was going to make her happy or something. They would tell her how cute she looked when her mother forced her to come to dinner with them, but deep down she could tell that they really rather her not be there. Esther has always been top in her High school track team and was usually never benched in soccer in university, spending half her time in the gym or practicing she would spend the other half in the lab and not much time sleeping. When a man by the name of Greyson Remington approached her she thought it was the most funniest thing she ever heard. That and it was late at night, she was buzzed on coffee and studying at the local campus library, he spoke French quite well but she could tell by the hinged accent that he wasn't from around here. Once he got to the point and said where they would be going if she accepted, she just rolled her eyes. "Of course" Remington looked quite confuse, "What?" her answered back slowly. She was going to the one place on earth that she wished would just disappear. "Of course you English pretty preps have a secret service in England.....Bloody fantastic." she would smirk as she said 'bloody fantastic' she had to say she pulled a pretty good English accent.

while the kingsley surname is known for being wealthy, well... the descoteaux-kingsley family were more of the upper-middle-class type. they were university professors, madame descoteaux an anthropologist, and sir kingsley a mathematician. after their marriage came 5 over-achieving and brilliant children, campbell included. he was an exceptional student with a heart of gold, but a silver tongue.
it wasn't until his teenage years when everything seemed to go to crap, his mother passed away, and they lost their beautiful home to instead take refuge in the big city. it was just him, his father and his older brother. his father was always working, his brother prepping for college, and cam? well, those inner city kids were never a good influence. while his family was away cam was often getting into a whole mess of trouble, much to his dismay. but it's all in good fun, right? even if the lifestyle never really suited him at all. thankfully as he's grown, so has his common sense and willpower.
it may be confusing to others as to why cam, so quiet, calm and clearly not-too-aggressive would even be a consideration for kingsman. some have teased him and said he's gone soft, to which cam won't disagree. but all it takes is a little observation to know that cam is willing to do just about anything to get his way, and certainly isn't unintelligent, either. once flying colors in all his school subjects, and once a worthy candidate for ivy league schools. calm in tight situations, and good at getting out of them. and fully willing to prove anyone wrong who thinks little of him. perhaps that's exactly why he agreed to this opportunity, anyway. after all, what's there to lose?

Jake grew up with his parents and his
younger sister. In school he always got the
highest marks, acing every class without
even trying. He's very intelligent, and some
might even call him a genius. However, he
suffers from what you'd call laziness, or
benefits from, depending on your view.
What he's best with is computers, it doesn't
really matter what with a computer, he can
do it. Jake's never one to get into fights,
and sees no shame in running away. He can
be a bit cowardly, but not shy. People don't
bother him, well, people with guns he
doesn't like so much... He's also not great
with bugs, heights, or things that could
get him hurt. A first impression of Jake is
likely to be very underwhelming, he's not
overly friendly, won't be dressed to impress,
and is probably fiddling around on his phone.
Yet if he cared enough, he could be hacking
into anything on the web and no one would
be the wiser. Which is exactly why he was
recruited.

It was Jake's mother's, friend's, friend's
husband who discovered the boy. A man
named Russel Howard. He was intrigued by
Jake's supposed intelligence and convinced
the kingsmen could get him to care about
something worthwhile. Jake's mom
practically accepted for him, she was eager
to get him out of the house since he was a
few years out of high school and his younger
sister had already moved out. She got him
to promise that he'd at least try, Jake left to
start training. Even if he didn't really want
to, he was going to give it his all, because
he doesn't give out promises easily, and
when he does, he always keeps them.
