physical description. kestrel stands at approximately 5'2, with a wingspan of about eighteen feet. she has wispy black hair that is slightly wavy. she usually wears it down, as she feels exposed when it's up (though she may wear it in a loose ponytail for prolonged flying). her eyes are a sharp olive green, and her skin is quite pale. she prefers simple clothing to much else, usually seen in a china blue & white hoodie as shown. as far as jewellery goes, she really likes small gold accents to offset her dark hair.
personality. kestrel is an intelligent young woman. she's sophisticated and not one to be messed with. many of the newbies dream of being trained by her, as she's notorious for being a skilled hunter and warrior. she isn't afraid to put people back in their place when they mess with her. despite her tough exterior, kestrel is actually quite sensitive but has learned to hide it.
history.kestrel was born into the flock. as a child, her wings were too large for her body and she was quite clumsy. as she grew older she learned control of her massive wings. her entire ancestry hails from the flock. her parents died in one of the battles and she doesn't really like to talk about it.
fears. letting down her flock, failing her leader, slipping down stairs (failure & falling in general)
talents. despite her tall height she can move very quickly, and fly fast. she loves to do air tricks most of all. perhaps her greatest talent is the fact that she knows nine languages fluently: english, french, irish, german, indonesian, japanese, mandarin, latin, and spanish.
