alchemists;; these are the players who brew all the healing potions and various poisons. they can also sell herbs and their wares are quite a bit stronger than those purchased from npcs.

beast tamers;; a skill that typically belongs to the cait sith, however they can gift the beasts they have tamed to other players. these familiars are usually rather small creatures, no larger than a dog, however there are larger dragon types as well. the creatures are -for the most part- just pets, however a few of them have battle healing magic and can be an asset to a solo player or even a team. most familiars have small health however and can be easily struck down in battle if one is not careful.

blacksmiths;; leprechauns are the master blacksmith race and pretty much all smithing is done by them. they refine, repair, and forge weapons and armour. their wares are stronger than those found in npc shops and the higher their skills, the better their items. you can custom order weapons from a smith, but sometimes an escort quest is needed to retrieve a certain material that will only spawn if the blacksmith goes along. they can also improve the level of of an item for a fee, but most items have a level limit that can't be exceeded.

bosses;; no player is going to challenge a boss alone unless they're an idiot so generally large parties are formed for boss raids. the player who delivers the killing blow will probably be decided via random generator or sorted out among ourselves. the player who does, gets a rare monster drop.

floors;; i'm not making a master list for floors. there will probs be a small list of who beat what boss for what floor, but that's about it and maybe an image on the terrain. since we're doing the alo/sao mashup so floors do in fact still exist.

guilds;; a guild can be created at any level (although in sao a requirement to create one was to complete a quest on the third floor). there must be as least three members to start a guild, as only two members just form a party. there is a leader -who usually appoints a second-in-command- to be their co-leader. the leader has divine authority over accepting and removing members and can demote/remove the co-leader at any time. guilds typically have their own rules and goals, and while some find them restricting, others find them extremely beneficial, especially when it comes to boss raids.

information brokers;; these guys often look pretty shady, but they know about things most people don't and can usually get you dirt on a specific player or really any info you could need. all for a fee of course. not usually the strongest fighters, but definitely the most knowledgeable.

levels & skills;; alo doesn't focus on the level system like sao did, and is instead based on a skill system where a player must use a skill repeatedly to raise it (p much like skyrim guys). this was designed to close the gap of power since in a level based game, once someone was high enough level, they were pretty much untouchable.

magic;; there are many kinds of magic in alo, and while the races can learn different magics, they typically have a certain type of magic that they can learn much more quickly and wield more effectively. most (all???) magic requires an incantation to use, the stronger the spell the longer the incantation.

marriage;; pretty basic function, once players are married they wear rings and share inventory space with one another. should one die the items go to the remaining spouse. after alo was implemented the marriage function was removed.

messaging;; basic function, lets you message players and is easier than trekking everywhere to find someone.

monster drops;; low-level monsters rarely drop anything other than exp and money, while mid to high level monsters sometimes drop materials to be used by a blacksmith or alchemist. only bosses and powerful or incredibly rare monsters with drop armour, weapons, or special/rare items. if you want to receive a weapon/armour monster drop, please clear it with me first.

original sword skills;; this was a system introduced in alo that allows a player to create and develop their own unique skills. original sword skills are incredibly difficult to make, so if you would like for your character to create one, i ask that you please clear it with me first. i'll also require a description of the skill. (an example of an oss is mother's rosario.)

pkers;; players killers, their icons are permanently red. they aren't very common, but they do exist and are can be hired as assassins by both green and orange players. there are a couple pker guilds, but they are few and far between. unlike in sao pking is encouraged in alo.

traders;; a player can become a trader by purchasing a shop, and raising their appraisal and bartering skills. they have better wares than npcs, and sometimes have rare materials or items. you can sell items to traders and they're the people to go to if you need an item identified.

weapons;; after alo was implemented it added magic, but it also added bows and other ranged weapons so players are no longer limited to melee weapons only, although swords still seem to be the most common weapon of choice.

it's a mystery why hibiki even bothered to get the amusphere, after all he
lost his older brother to the sao incident. in all honesty he's not sure he knows
quite why himself, but to him it's just the escape from reality he desperately
needs. if asked about it he'll generally try to shrug it off or make a joke and then
change the subject. in alfheim he's renowned for his healing prowess, though he
owes a chunk of that to his coveted staff that gives massive boots to all of his
healing spells and elemental buffs. his true skills lies in his ranged combat, an
excellent archer with near perfect aim, his skill with a bow is nearly unmatched.
in comparison his close-range skills are near non-existent and if an enemy gets
too close it's all over for him. despite his easy-going nature he's never actually
found a team that wasn't just a group of backstabbers who used his healing skills
then turned around and killed him when it was time to divvy up the loot. he's finally
starting to grow wary of other players, but he's still too trusting for his own good.

⊱brief history⊰
there isn't much to be told about hibiki's past in all honesty. his
parents divorced when he was fifteen and he lived with his mother
while his older brother, ryo lived with their father. not long after the
divorce ryo was trapped in sword art online. hibiki spent almost all
of his free time in the hospital at ryo's side. in 2023, alfheim came
out and despite ryo's situation, hibiki bought it and began playing.
in august, 2024 (the day of the raid against laughing coffin) ryo was
killed in-game, subsequently dying in real life. after that hibiki dove
more often for longer periods of time and seems to avoid real life.

hibiki is on the tall lanky side, standing at six foot two and
weighing one hundred and sixty-six pounds. he's got some lean
muscle and is in fairly decent shape, though he's still scrawny
enough to have a lanky look to him. his skin is a little on the
pale side, but still has a healthy glow to it. his hair is a light
pink shade, wavy, and typically unmanageable, sticking out
all over the place. his eyes are violet in colour, and are always
friendly and inviting. in real life he's wears sweaters and jeans.
in-game he's partial to rogue-ish white, blue and silver armour.

her weapon choice matches with her style of clothing; two finely crafted katanas; the pair is called the death sisters. both have been made from fine metal with a black and crimson handle. they are thin and double edged for maximum damage and strength. both of these swords were crafted by her brother, who later pasted on in the game. he was the one who left her with the skills when she was given the chance to restart; thus, alois lullaby swore to beat the game, never changing her swords or skills, only gaining skills that would help her..

instead of something that would weigh her down, alois lullaby choice something a little more built to max out her speed and agility skills. she wears a light weight metal plate, shaped around the front of her stomach. under that is a simple, but elegant crimson colored fabric fitted around her snug (tank top sleeves), but loose enough to ensure maximum movement. the bottoms she has chosen to wear is a crimson high low skirt with black shorts underneath the ends of the low part of the skirt are split up at mid thigh, becoming two different tails, were the color fades from the crimson to black. lastly, over this unique choice of armor, the young lady has a pure black cape with a hood.
