But, tragedy struck and the breeder died suddenly and his children sold the pups to anyone who would take them. Zuri was sold along with her brother and Littermate Zatchi. They were at 4 months of age, they were tossed into a cold Barn and basically left to fend for themselves. If they tried to greet their master they were hit, or kicked. Finally, unable to handle this life anymore, Zuri and Zatchi ran away one night during a blizzard and have lived on the streets sense.
