there's another world
inside of me
that you may never see
there're secrets in this life
that I can't hide
somewhere in this darkness
there's a light that
I can't find
maybe it's too far away...
or maybe I'm just blind...

The perfect lady, a beautiful woman with a sweet disposition and the perfect lord, a strong and clever man but such perfect people don't often make the perfect parents. Mira was brought into the world on December twentieth and in that moment life was perfect. Quickly though it became apparent that Mira's parents were not the parenting type and so Mira was left in the care of maids and tutors and expected to grow up on her own. When she was ten Mira could count on one hand the amount of times she'd seen her parents (discounting social functions of course) and in those times Mira could show you with one finger how many times they'd said "I love you". Perpetually ignored by the two people who should've held her close Mira created her own family from the tutors and maids who cared enough (or were paid enough) to spend time with her. As she grew the little lady learned quickly just how much deception and intrigue that surrounded the higher class, everyone had an ulterior motive and every word had a double meaning , and though her parents thrived in the environment Mira struggled. With none to trust within her own class the little girl grew up to be wary of others, watch their movements with keen eyes and never trust what they had to say. It was then that Lady Mira began to wish that she wasn't a lady at all, in a simpler life she imagined there was less deceit, more love at least that's what she saw comparing her parents to others that she noticed in the park or walking down the street. While most people dreamed of having her life, Mira dreamed of having theirs of running away from her titles and riches and making a new life for herself where she would be free to do what she wanted with her life and never answer to what is proper. Despite herself Mira has adapted to the life of a lady, she's adept at reading a group and knowing what they want her to say and what was better left unsaid, she knows how to walk and talk with confidence and the air of someone who fears nothing in this world, and her manners are impeccable able to charm even the toughest of souls. Her parents couldn't be prouder of the daughter they didn't raise for she has given them the lady they always wanted her to be and they couldn't imagine that Mira was trying to give it all up.
