Whether they come from farms, with wishes to go beyond the safety of their fences, or they escape confinement, with dreams of a home far away from abuse and slaughter, or they are simply wanderers from a herd long gone, lost for whatever reason plagues their past, the herds of Jade Hills welcomes anyone from any background. One only has to find this oasis.

History:
Dante was born in the Valkyrie herd with his twin brother, Alvaro. Unfortunately, while Jade Hills is a haven for horses, it also has dangers that threaten the lives of its herds. Alvaro was attacked by a wild dog pack while grazing a few meters from his herd and was killed before his Father Valentino, the previous Valkyrie herd lead stallion, could save him. After the incident, Dante was determined, not only to follow in his fathers hoofsteps, but to protect his herd no matter the cost and avenge his brother if he ever laid eyes on the dog pack again. Presently, he is the lead stallion of the Valkyrie herd and takes pride in the position.

History:
Gypsy was born into the Valkyrie herd with her yearling brother, Dante. She was the fifth foal born to her Mother Ezmeralda and the next to last born when her sister, Aurora, was born. Living a rather comfortable life with her family, Gypsy was not content with her future. As her brother took over as lead stallion after their father passed away, it was clear that due to the lack of stallions in the Valkyrie herd, the only option was to inbreed. To prevent this, Gypsy left and joined the Nike herd and now lives contentedly with the other mares and the lead stallion.

History:
Andromeda was born in a stable on a farm far to the West of Jade Hills. Her Father was a hard-working horse, in charge of plowing the fields for his master, and her mother was free to roam the pastures and produce foals to sell so the farmer could raise money to keep up with the property. Just like any other farm Andromeda was among other animals besides the small herd of horses the farmer kept, including pigs, chickens, goats, dogs, and the occasional stray cat he fed. Andromeda was one of several foals that the farmer decided to keep for himself, but as the mare grew and heard stories about a world beyond the fences that kept her trapped, her desire to leave grew as well. Sure enough, she got her chance one day when the farmer's son left the gate open and Andromeda ran for the hills, never looking back. When she found Jade Hills, she was accepted into the Chaos herd.
