In his early years rusty was shielded by his parents and older siblings in order to protect him from some of the other wolves and their snappy jaws. As he lived in the his fathers' shadow until the age of two, he was ignorant of the consequences his actions may create and grew up to be the charming, reckless and observant brute he is today. Although he was enraged by the death of his father he learned to channel his anger into other activities such as training or so. With the new war swaying between packs after the recent change in command, Rusty is becoming increasingly involved with not only his pack but the tamarack pack.

Tahlia knows nothing of her mother and her origin. Her father had raised her since she was a young pup, he taught her everything he knew and more. She was sadden to discover that he disappeared shortly after she joined the Tamarack pack. Although she attempted to look for him, her attempts proved useless and she peacefully came to terms with the simplistic fact that her parents were either missing or dead.
