Diesel is a very loyal wolf, he has been raised in the pack life, and has always been pushed to be the best, to use the best of abilities, at all times. This has shaped Diesel to be a stern, strong, both physically and mentally, loyal, and to react mainly on impulse, which could be a fault in the brute's actions, although it seems to have been in his favor, for the most part. How Diesel turned out to be this way is from being raised, mostly by his father, whom was the beta of the pack, before when Diesel was just a pup. Seeing as Diesel was the only brute born in his litter his father, unknown, took Diesel under his wing and isolated him from other wolves, including his sisters, unless it was for hunting or fighting training purposes.

This has left Diesel with poor social skills, and has made him to have a short temperament, and to be very stern, but along with that has made Diesel one of the most loyal wolves you'd ever meet, which has helped him in ranks and gain respect from his pack, even though others may whisper about how stubborn and how mean Diesel's natural attitude is, but even being fully aware of the gossip, he knows he'd protect every one of his pack mates with his life, which only goes to show that if Diesel ever took on a mate, he would be utterly loyal and protective over her, that is if he could manage to find a fea that could get past his harsh nature.

Even though Diesel is the way he is, he does have strong doubts about himself, and can pick out his own weaknesses, like for example, he doesn't believe he'd be fit to take care of a litter of pups if he ever took on a mate, but he has the confidence, and is positive that he'd be able to run a pack if he had to. Even though Diesel seems like the perfect brute, like every other wolf, he has a deep, dark secret that haunts him every moment of every day, the thing is. In Diesel's previous pack -before being wiped out, was the alpha. Anyone could question how a beta's son became alpha of his previous pack. The alpha did die, along with his successor. Not due to natural causes or a fatal attack from another pack, but because of Diesel.

Diesel was the first one born into his litter, being the oldest brother to three sisters. His parents were the alpha's of the pack, and his father trained him for the position through his youth. It was one of those days, out training with his father in a clearing not far from the pack. They were attacked by a rouge, and Diesel being young couldn't do anything but hide and watch as his father fought the rouge off. In hiding, Diesel watched his father die in that fight. On impulse he ran from his spot, exposing himself to the rouge's mercy. The rouge didn't seem to want to harm Diesel, as he was just a little pup. Diesel was depressed and angry though, and jumped forward lunging at the rouge. The rouge wasn't going to deal with him, and swung it's paw around. Leaving a huge scratch down Diesel's muzzle, deep and bleeding. After that the rouge left, and Diesel walked back to the pack. Alone and injured, unable to do anything about his father's death.

After Diesel got back he howled sadly, breaking the news to the rest of the pack who saw him walk back alone and covered in blood. His mother fell into a depression, forgetting her responsibilities that she had in the pack. Without their alpha's, Diesel had taken up the responsibility to take care of the pack. Such a hard job for a young pup to take on, and to do it alone too. He managed the pack well enough, until the rouge came back. Padding into camp like he lived there, and Diesel took the power to get the rouge to back off and not return. All without a fight.

His scratch had formed into a scar, alerting the rouge that he was indeed the pup that had interfered in the clearing. Diesel's mother decided to show herself then, allowing the rouge to join the pack. She didn't know what the rouge had done, but when Diesel tried to tell her she snapped. She was the alpha female still, her word was held above his. The thought that pushed into his head angered him, he didn't want to leave his family to the rouges mercy. Especially after the way he saw his mother talk to the rouge, watched the rouge slip into the alpha den after her. He wasn't following under the rouge, and a widowed alpha female who approved of the thing that had murdered his father. That night though, he left the pack behind.
