is never something you
want to do. but there's a
point where she's long gone,
and you have no other choice.
and thus began harley's pitiful
adventure. with the last remaining
member of his family, his sister
lottie and their family dogs, he took
off and never looked back. how he's
made it this long, they all wonder.
well, harley doesn't take chances.
not chances for him, or his sister,
or for his niece either.
anxious. that's the first thing people
probably notice when they meet
harley. he's always shaky. always
worried. yet he has all of his sanity.
he can rationalize and observe. he
can get himself out of situations
and view things from a technical
standpoint. it's been keeping him
alive so far, and he trusts his instinct.
part of his paranoia stems from the
fact that he can't hear all that well.
being partially deaf in both ears,
before the outbreak he required
hearing aids. now, he still has them,
but batteries are in short supply. they
work less and less every day. even
with his worries, harley tries his best
to be compassionate and reasonable,
as well as rational and logical. he
doesn't like to put himself out there,
or risk the lives of his fellow survivors.
