Estrella died October 25th, 1999. Before that, she was a massive nerd, even by today's standards. She was a massive Trekkie, played Dungeons and Dragons on a weekly basis, and had a comic collection the size of a small library. She'd never been one for exploring the spiritual side of the world, but on her first day of highschool, she met someone who was. The two became fast friends, bonded by both their mutual exclusion and their mutual interest in the other's hobbies. Her friend learned the layout of all four versions of the Enterprise, the names and powers of all the X-men, and how to fill out a character sheet like a pro, and Estrella learned how to talk to the spirits. Which was where it all went wrong.
Nobody really knows what happened. Estrella was found in her room, collapsed over a Ouija board, with no sign of any kind of physical damage. Her autopsy came up with nothing, the police were stumped, the best medical minds were clueless. Estrella was perfectly healthy, aside from the fact that she was dead. The only lead anyone had was from the girl that had been her friend, and perhaps more, if Estrella had been around long enough to deepen their relationship. She said that Estrella had been acting strangely for the past few days, that she'd been talking to someone with the board. She said that Estrella wouldn't say who the spirit was, said that she'd been told not to. The police, of course, dismissed the girl's story as irrelevant, the case was closed, and that was that. Or, it was supposed to be. A couple years later, reports came in from a nearby sorority house of strange occurrences. Its inhabitants told tales of voices in the night, objects being moved and hidden, and even a few tales of girls being lured into the university pond. These reports were, of course, dismissed as practical jokes, but they of course werent. Estrella ahd come back.

Hazel was a young beautiful girl, who was born on 1907.
She had a peaceful family, loving and caring, consisting of her father,
mother and her older brother. They were all happy together, and
were probably inseparable, and were quite well known in the village.
However, 7 years later, the first world war began. Her father and her
brother were sent off to war, to fight for ‘honor’, to die for ‘honor’,
or so they said. At first, young Hazel didn’t understand, why were
they doing this? Killing each other for what? Why do they have to
take my father and brother away? Soon, she learned that her father
had died, as her brother came back home with battle scars, only to
leave the next day. The whole family grieved for their loss, Hazel
crying herself to sleep every night.

But that wasn't the only tragedy.

A year later, a bombshell came in, crashing into her home. Screams
filled the air, smoke in her lungs as she gasped for her mother. Until
the second one came. Then, it was blackness.

Young Hazel died at the age of 8, on 1915.

Hazel is a happy and joyful little girl, who is known to be
timid, yet caring and lovable. Her mother used to tell her to be lady like,
and boys only liked girls who are kind and caring. So off she went, becoming
one of the most polite girls in her family and village. Many people adored
her cute personality, yet well mannered and optimistic all the time. However,
when she died and came back as a lonely soul, she found everyone dead,
and could never grasp for her mother’s love again. She still yearns for that
love, and warm bubbly feeling, maybe even a friend.

meet ruben "call me rube" fossum, resident joker & annoyance. rube died late one night in 2002, in the passenger seat of his best friend's car. however, he decided the idea of sticking around and haunting some girls would be way cooler than go to...well, wherever the next place was. the collage was familiar, and rube has always been cautious of the unknown.

apathy and sarcasm are two things that rube specialises in. he comes across as a little lazy at first, but the truth is, he's always willing to lend a hand. it just depends on what he'll get in return. in life, he preferred to fend for himself, but if he made a good friend, he could be annoyingly overprotective of them. he has a tendency to do this even in the afterlife, adopting a "favourite human" and following them around while affectionately slamming some doors around them. rube is quick with a joke or a witty comment, usually to the point of being irritating. he loves getting reactions, weather it be from his attempts to scare them or the responses to his taunting.
