hoppaw was named after his crooked back legs. born at the wrong time, in the wrong place caused him to have misshaped hind legs, giving him difficulty walking, running and hunting. Running: extra speed, yet he can't focus on his location, and is pushed forward too far.
Hunting: usually pounces too far, startling the prey.
