Sedgeclan cats are tough and well-muscled, and most have thick fur to protect them from the biting winters in their mountain range home. They commonly have grey or blue eyes. They have very tough paw pads and are excellent climbers and hunters, owing to their Skyclan roots. The fierce terrain in which they live has made them strong, but because prey is never quite as plentiful as in the forests of their ancestors, they are often lean and thin under their thick pelts. They are used to the dangers of their home, whether it be foxes or the relentless cold that sweeps in each leaf-bare.

Prefixes and Suffixes
Ailuronymy lists a number of prefixes a suffixes it does not use, however some of these are allowed in Sedgeclan.

Suffixes:
-tooth; synonymous with '-fang'.
-wing; synonymous with '-tail'.
-sight; synonymous with '-nose'.
-song; Fierce and charismatic, interested in helping others. Often given to medicine cats.
-feather; Gentle and sweet-tempered, usually optimistic and friendly.
-blaze; Thoughtful and a good listener, although they sometimes make rash decisions. They usually have an innate fierceness which can be translated to healing, fighting, or raising and protecting a family.
-frost; Intelligent, focused, logical and calculating. Sometimes cold and hostile, or brutally honest.

Prefixes:
dew-; Light grey or white.
feather-; Grey or brown tabby, snowshoe, or point.
flame-; Synonymous with 'fire-'.
hawk-; A brown tabby or grey and white tabby.
deer-; Can also be snowshoe in addition to Ailuronymy's prerequisites.
moss-; Any tortoiseshell.

history; Rookfang was born in Sedgeclan to Nightclaw, a fearsome black tom, and Ternheart, an opinionated grey and white she-cat. He was the only kit in his litter, but he was strong and healthy. As an apprentice, Rookfang showed great promise in both hunting and fighting, and he put everything he had into becoming a great warrior. As a young cat he was popular among the others for his confidence and skill. He quickly rose to become deputy, and fell in love with Russetfur. He had two kits, Stoatkit and Badgerkit. His life was pretty much perfect. Four moons ago though, a badger attacked the camp and ravaged the nursery, killing Russetpelt and Stoatkit. Nightclaw was killed fighting, and Ternheart died from her wounds. Rookfang managed to rescue Badgerkit, although the black and white kit's tail had been severely damaged, leaving him with barely a quarter of it left. The badger was killed, but Rookfang had lost everything in a single night. Now, Rookfang doesn't allow himself to become close to any of his peers, instead keeping himself politely distant. He is extremely protective of his son Badgerpaw, often hovering around the young tom when he's out of camp.

history; Duckpaw is a clan-born she-cat with a proud ancestry. Her mother, Hawknose, was descended from one of the first Skyclan cats, and wasn't afraid to flaunt it in an attempt to get preferential treatment. Duckpaw never liked that about her mother though, and luckily she is much more modest about her ancestry. Thistlefoot, Duckpaw's father, was a loving tom with a good sense of humour. He was claimed by a vicious blizzard before Duckpaw was born. Hawknose was claimed by sickness a moon before Duckpaw was apprenticed.

history ;; batpaw was found by a patrol at the sedgeclan border when he was 14 moons of age. he was covered in blood and already blind- malnourished and barely alive, but he'd somehow managed to find the clan. he refuses to speak on his past, and unfortunately, that refusal is still here today. strengths ;; batpaw is an exemplary hunter. because of his ailment, he can hear extremely well, detecting many sounds that other warriors simply cannot, and hitting his targets with pinpoint accuracy. he also has good herb knowledge, is very diligent in his work, and has excellent taste, touch and smell. he is also very innovative, and can think of a solution to almost any problem. oh... and he never quits. ever.
weaknesses ;; batpaw doesn't fight well. in spite of his excellent hearing, he isn't perfect- he cannot detect his opponents movements in time to counter them. unless the cat uses all offensive/grappling moves in which batpaw can feel and hear them clearly, he is defenseless. he is also very anti-social, has quite a sharp tongue, and is very emotionally fragile. not to mention he is very vengeful.

personality ;;True to his name, Mistcloud is a rather peculiar tom. Most of the time, he is like name suggests - he is intelligent, dignified, calm, fair and kind. He enjoys mingling with other cats, but definitely enjoys his space. Regardless, he is very calm and rarely has outbursts. Mistcloud prefers to settle situations with words than to claws, and is quite good with manipulating his words to disarm a situation and change even the most stubborn cat's mind. Kind, even it rogues, to some it seems he has no loyalty. But, that becomes obviously wrong when he is pressured. When himself or his clan is threatened and words won't work he comes out with the claws and is a rather adept fighter - one of the best in the clan. Although it takes a lot for him to get angry, when he does, his words can become stinging, his actions prove his loyalty, although seemingly questionable sometimes, is his best trait - when under pressure, it shows. Even in the most angry of moments when claws are flying, he remains calm and vigilant, always seeking what's best for his clan.
history ;; mistcloud came to the clan when he was scarcely 7 moons old. a strange cat named berryheart delivered him there, then left the next night with no explanation. although mistcloud doesn't advertise it, he is very willing to speak on his past. [to be rp'ed.]

strengths ;; Mistcloud is very intelligent and controlled. He can disarm almost any situation and is kind to other cats, regardless of their rank. He is also an adept fighter - he is very fast and has excellent stamina, not to mention experience that far exceeds his moons. He is also a very good fisher.
weaknesses ;; Mistcloud is sometimes too friendly with rogues and other cats of the sort for his clan's liking. He isn't the best hunter. Also, although he is hard to anger, when angered, it is very hard to disarm him - he tends to get worked up and explode completely before even showing hints of settling down.

Brief Description
Tipwhisker is a ginger tabby with green eyes. But don't mistake him for an ordinary cat--his fur is covered in white splotches and his eyes are so dark as to be gray or black. Even though his fur is short, he can still keep warm as his fur is very thick.
Brief Personality
Tipwhisker is quiet and patient, and tries not to trust others immediately. He likes many aspects of Clan life better than his loner life, such as being able to trust others and living with a very large, extended family through blood and friendship, something he never could experiance as a loner. However, he never really believed in some aspects such as StarClan. Afterall, to him, he never saw evidence of ghostly cats watching over the Clans. He would much rather live his life with the Clan relying on the other cats rather than dead beings that may not help. But he can't help wonder if StarClan is real, and longs to belong to it after he dies, and see his friends and possibly his family again.
Brief History
Tipwhisker was born a loner family. He abandoned them once he was old enough to survive on his own. He was found at the edge of SedgeClan territory at six moons. He became an apprentice, though few trusted him at first. Tipwhisker knew he had to be best of the best. And so he was--in hunting. Once a warrior, Tipwhisker earned his place into the Clan, and is as loyal as a Clan-born cat.

One thing I want to bring to your attention though; the '-claw' suffix for Batpaw isn't suitable according to Ailuronomy's naming system, which Sedgeclan uses as a guideline. '-Claw' implies that a cat is an excellent fighter. A more appropriate suffix would be '-whisker', which implies that a cat is an excellent hunter [x], because you've said that Batpaw is an exemplary hunter. You can to keep the name if you're really attached to it, but changing it would be preferable c:

personality:
alderfoot is a natural storyteller. and by that, he tends to exaggerate a bit. he is also quite a loud tom and secretly relishes being the center of attention. he's a decent parent to his daughter and has tried his best not to spoil her. alderfoot enjoys being around kits and apprentices to remind himself of the times when his family was still together. the tom wishes he was out hunting or fighting for his clan still, but those moons have past.

giving in to the littermates' chorus of pleading, alderfoot sighed and grinned. "alright kittens. gather 'round. one of you go tell your mother that you'll be over here for a while." after that had been settled and the kits got comfortable, alderfoot dove into one of his favorite stories that his family passed down for generations. the old tom raised tension when needed, added in a hint of suspense when necessary, and relief where it seemed right. alderfoot spent time wrapping up the story with careful precision, keeping the kits interested till the very end.
