a town located right next to the smoky mountains. most of it's residents are scattered around on the outskirts, as the downtown area is a huge tourist trap. haunted mansions, Ripley's museum, a freak circus, and many other oddities. there's even an area with a medieval-themed cottage. so it makes perfect sense for there to be rumors of weird, beast-like creatures lurking around the town and in the mountains.

no one really believes these rumors to be true of course. many think it's just to attract more tourists. however there is a select group of people that do believe that these beast things are real. they call them werewolves. and the people who believe in them are hunters. the beasts have been getting more and more out of hand; people getting lost in the mountains, only to reappear with their bodies torn up. people have been calling for the authorities to take action, thinking that maybe there might be mountain lions living in the smokies.
