When the clan first separated she ended up staying with her father and brother, her mother and sister left. After her mother left she and Bravepaw were pretty much motherless, their only motherly figure were the queens and female warriors who watched over them. During this time Redpaw began to have odd and vivid dreams, most of the time she could barley remember them. One minute she'd be doing something and realize she had already done it or at least seen it. Kind of like "deja vu" only more often and accurate. This worried her because she and her brother had made a pact after their mother left and it was to become strong warriors together and someday reunite the clans even if it meant becoming leaders. But after awhile other cat's began to see the fear her eyes shown when she awoke from a vision or was reliving something. The final straw was when she dozed off and had a vision. Without realizing it she had spoken the dream out loud only for it to happen heartbeats later. After that it was obvious she was meant to be a Medicine Cat and her fate was sealed by Starclan, ending all her dreams of having a mate and kits. She still has a few visions but not all the time when she was like a kit, it was as if Starclan was forcing her to become a medicine cat. Now she's an apprentice but in her heart she yearns to be a warrior like her brother.

When Bravepaw was born he was the first before his three sisters and the most independent. Before their mother named him he had found his way out of the nursery countless times without even realizing it. His father would often joke with his mother that he was the bravest kit he'd ever seen, and so his mother named him Bravekit. Bravepaw took the name really personal and promised himself that he would take care of his two baby sisters and also his clan but when Rainpaw and his mother left he felt a part of himself leave with them and it was then he began to brew up the idea of reuniting his clan. This and the need to protect and watch over Redpaw kept him out of a slight depression, after all his first sister had left along with their mother. When Redpaw was finally able to leave the nursery he filled her mind with the idea of becoming a warrior and told her stories, although they were make belief Redpaw took them to heart. When she began to have visions he didn't notice right away and even today it pains him to know his sister went through such a struggle but he feels proud to have her as his sister and even know doesn't realize she is in an eternal conflict with herself. Even though he doesn't have Redpaw to help him in his dream he still continues down the path he chose for himself in order to see Rainpaw.

After leaving the rest of her family behind besides her mother she didn't really care, she felt a bit guilty about it but deep down she was over-joyed. Leaving her two siblings meant she didn't have to compete with anyone, and she would get all of her mother's attention. Even though she didn't care for her siblings she still acted like it and would act moody but as she got older she began to realize if someone did pay attention to her it would be out of pity so she switched up her whole personality to a kind, gentle, innocent and caring she-cat that others would respect and look up to. When she became an apprentice It was easy for her to hunt, her quick yet silent steps were perfect for catching prey yet when it came to battles she was terrible. Unlike the rest of the cat's who were able to attack upfront and use their strength, she was weak so instead she came up with the idea of attacking from the shadows and sneak attacks. When you look at it that way she is powerful, with her swift and precise attacks that come one after another. Her relationship with the other apprentice's are good. Most of the time she sticks herself into the middle of them and hangs out with them, acting friendly and buttering them up with complements and tips. Even though it seems like shes mostly going nowhere in life without a goal, she does have one. Her plan is to become leader someday and drive every other cat and clan away or force them under her "rule". Gosh....Rainpaw is pretty devious.
