She could feel the wind on her face and it felt nice even though her skin stung from the salt water that she had been soaked in for a long time, up ahead there was a clearing away from all the trees. She could hear the crashing of a waterfall and the moist atmosphere around the trees, bringing her hand down to cup them with water she had a taste. A waterfall...and this water is safe to drink then I guess. Taking a few more gulps of water she sat down on the edge of the waterfall with her dipping in. She just needed to clear her thoughts, Its okay. Sooner or later they'll realise we're gone and send a search party to look for us. She wasn't really that worried about being found, plus she really liked this peaceful solitude. It was a good thing her Mum signed her up for girl scouts when she was younger, good situation to put her skills to test. Splashing some water on her face she rubbed to soothe the stinging of her cheeks, her throat was no longer dry but it would take awhile until it went away completely.
