My English teacher is a man from America so we get him to try and pronounce things in an English accent, it's the funniest thing ever.

I can't wait until my last year flies by, the quicker I'm out the happier I'll be and @Need for Speed it probably will be :3

English accent XD everyone tells me I have random accents at time but I think that is an English accent. But honestly I never thought of the way Americans talk as an accent.

Several times, I have been told that I have a German accent even though I was born in America. I guess that it comes from my dad's side.

Home-schooled, Need For Speed? Cool! I do a home-school program, but I have to go in-building at least once a week. I absolutely despised my english teacher this year, she docked me twenty points on a thirty point essay because of three grammar errors.
I get told I have an accent all the time, but I don't know why. I think I sound exactly like my parents, but...

Yeah American accent and English accent and then you have English dialect and American dialect hahaha. Why don't you think of it as an accent?

We don't really care about your spelling or grammatical errors unless it's anEnglish essay, if it's not the most they dock you is four Marks for the whole thing which isn't much.

Just the way I was raised. Hearing all those things like Russian, British, Australian, etc. accents you kinda get ignorant and start to believe that you accent is the normal way of speech. It's not often that I hear about someone having an American accent. But you know, that's me a total bull headed American. XD

I am pretty sure that I have a southern accent but I am not so sure about the German accent even though several of my friends said that I have a German accent.

my friend used to talk to people from other countries, and apparently the slight accent that's specific to my region (I live in Ohio) is the accent that people usually associate with America.
