Vampires are not your sparkling, gleaming creatures who harmlessly feed on animals. They are ruthless
monsters that live in large groups known as "covens." They prefer to live in abandoned places, where only
the dumb and foolish go to explore. They do have a fatal weakness to the sun, which is why Miss Ignorant
Perfection is the best at killing them. Her powers of light can burn them to a crisp. Vampires are fast with
just as much speed and strength to rival both demon and angel. While fighting one may seem easy, it's alot
harder when taking on the entire group, plus any family living nearby. Their speed and sense of smell, plus
their ability to see in the dark makes them the excellent predator. Their fangs only sprout when they decide
to feed and they tend to hiss and spit a lot. Vampires are rarely found as not dangerous, but there have been
a few cases. To the angels and demons, they are considered pests that must be exterminated like rodents
would be to humans.

Kitsunes are typically found in Asian countries; especially Japan but there have been a few cases in
America. They are normally females, rarely males, that take on the forms of both a multiple-tailed fox
spirit and that of a human form. The more tails, the more wise and powerful the kitsune is. While they are
normally pranksters that enjoy stealing petty things like candy bars. Some kitsunes have other plans, such
as stealing from banks or jewelry stores. They can also use their illusion abilities to trick mortals, and
sometimes even angels and demons, into thinking they are going mad. Mister Smart Aleck is the best for
this job because he can so easily see through these illusions and tricks. Not only that but he can take away
their intelligence using his gift; should he be concentrating hard enough.

Unicorns are not your happy, mythical horse that protects damsels in distress. They kill people with
their horns and drain them of their energies; using their lifeforce to keep themselves young and beautiful.
Though they enjoy killing farm animals and farmers particularly, since they can appear to look like a
simple horse. Some unicorns are even known to eat the flesh off of man; while others are the reason
why children often go missing. Miss Snuggle Bunny can manipulate unicorns, in a sense, by taking away
their urges to feel beautiful. And thus, preventing them from being able to attack. Unicorns can be
dangerous in herds but are not necessarily as large as a threat as vampires. Occasionally Unicorns will
team up with mermaids and help them gather helpless victims.

Mermaids are not your red-haired, fork twirling fish-people. They are a ruthless race with only
one instinct. To kill and eat. They are carnivores and use their human-looks to lure prey into their clutches.
Mermaids can be both male and female. Typically the males are called "mermen" though the term "mermaid"
remains for either gender. Their lower bodies can look like fish, eels, or sharks. Their upper body, including
both chest, arms, and face, have human qualities. Their flesh typically has a green or blue undertone to it.
They have two eyelids, much like a reptile. They can breath on both land and water but their tails will dry
out if they are out of the water for too long. Mermaids have hair that's typically entangled with sea flowers,
starfish, or jelly-fish tentacles. They use their good looks and singing voices to attract humans into the cold
depths of the water. Sometimes they pretend they are drowning so humans come rescue them. They live
strictly on a diet of human flesh and will feed on nothing else. The hungrier the mermaid, the prettier the
voice. Some even have razor sharp teeth, much like a shark. Some mermaids also use Kelpies to help draw in
humans to them.

Werewolves are not your story-book kind. They are not human. Not at all. They have no true human
emotions or feelings. They are pure instinct. While they are often called "Wildmen", they are normally
considered beasts who can turn into men. Not men who turn into beasts. They have two different forms.
Once a man or woman transforms, they look like a massive (as in the size of a brown bear or larger) wolf.
But their hind legs and forelegs are also shaped in the manner that allows them to stand perfectly well on
their hind legs, making them much taller and more powerful. Werewolves can transform on any night except
the night of a new moon - when there is no glowing orb in the sky. They have strong senses and can utilize
their human intelligence and animal instinct to make themselves even stronger of an adversary. Their bites
can cause a person to transform so if anyone gets bit it must be rinsed out with holy water immediately so
the virus can be washed clean of the body.

There are a wide range of avian creatures that terrorize earth. But some are rarer to come by
which is why they are sort of grouped together into one category.

Phoenixes are not your typical birds that heal people. They are malicious birds who can be reborn over and
over again if they are not exterminated. Their tears are like acid and can burn through almost anything. On
top of that, they have a bad habit of setting things on fire with their plumage or fire-breath (yes they can
breath fire). They are often the cause of really bad forest fires or explainable house fires. They can be
trained to become loyal and listen to commands; but it's difficult to do.

Rocs (yes they're called Rocs, not to be mistaken with rocks) are massive birds typically found in Africa.
They aren't necessarily a huge threat until they get out of control in a certain area; when the populace is
too big. They aren't very intelligent and run on natural bird instinct. But what makes them so dangerous is
their size. They are large enough to carry away fully grown, adult elephants. Their wings can whip up strong
whirlwinds. When they become over populated, they don't get enough food and will resort to eating people
in villages. This is when killing Rocs becomes necessary.

Griffins and Hypogriffs are creatures who's stories are fairly accurate. They aren't necessarily a huge threat
to the human race unless, much like the Roc, they become over populated. They are proud creatures who
only lay one egg a year. So they are incredibly violent and aggressive towards anyone who gets near their
eggs or nest. Griffins and Hypogriffs are actually fairly good at tracking other mystical creatures and they
are sometimes used to help the angels and demons.

Thunderbirds are another avian creature. Rare but powerful, they are only a little smaller than a Roc. But
they can create and control lightning and rain. They can create massive storms that causes damage to
humans. They are the cause of typhoons and tsunamis - whipping up the ocean water with their powerful
wings. They are dangerous creatures and should be removed as soon as signs of them arrive.

Unlike most demons, Scarlet does not have wings or a tail. Instead, she has
horns that only make an appearance when she is using her powers to the max.

A girl that has always gotten along better with the boys. She's always prided herself on having the "three B's"; being brave, brash, and bold. She loves getting attention and she tends to act irrationally in order to get that spotlight. She's stubborn as a bull and just as strong as one. She can be a tad narcissistic but her honesty is genuine; though often painful since she can take it a little overboard.

Born in the United Kingdom, Scarlet's tale of reaching the states is one of routine. As most tourists did, she fell in love with the culture and the people. In doing so, she couldn't resist the urge to make her stay permanent. Failing to pick up college courses after the move, Scarlet pursued her other interests outside of education. A daredevil, she has always sought out things to satisfy her need for adventure and physical exhaustion. The most optimal solution was to adapt the lifestyle of an adrenaline junkie. From the heightened senses to the moments when pain is but a ghostly touch, Scarlet has come to crave the rush. Rock climbing and cliff jumping have become her preferred outlets, but she can be seen cramming in all kind of activities in her spare time. The expenses of her new lifestyle began to add up and Scarlet knew she needed a means of earning cash. And so, she took up a job. Hired as a waitress for a local dinner, Scarlet endured the endless advances of men and squabbles of children long enough so she could earn respect among the management. Having held the job for a year now, she picks up shifts whenever she can squeeze them in. Throughout it all— the heart pounding adventures and the thinning patience of service, Scarlet has embraced her origin and the duty tied into it. For months now, she has been following cases and filing away evidence to aid her in hunting the creature her ability already expresses potential in tackling; werewolves.

Our character's "hometown" is anywhere within Chicago, Illinois. It does not have to be where your
character originated, but it is where your character lives now. They can be working, in college,
working and in college, or doing some other sort of thing (or nothing ^^).

As soon as nightfall begins, however, everyone meets in a place call Misty & Moon's Bar N' Grill
(often just called "the bar" or M&M's). It's a bar owned by my character Ajax (it was his parent's).
From there, they all travel across the globe in order to reach the area where the mythical beasts
are attacking/hiding etc. They have to keep their identity a secret from strangers (family may
know if you wish) and cause the least amount of damage to the surrounding area as possible.

In regards to traveling -- if your character does not have wings - no problem! If s/he is a demon,
they may "shadow travel" or if s/he is an angel, "light speed" travel. c: That way it saves any
awkward moments of time.
