I'm going to just... just leave this here.
Zer-0 panted heavily as he moved quickly threw an old factory. He'd stop occasionally due to finding an unconscious titan and would check to make sure they were okay. Reason why he even cared, was the distress call on the open frequency made by them. He still needed to repay robin for saving him.
He nodded once he made sure the others were safe and okay, hesitant on checking on starfire but had done so anyways. With that done, he rushed on weaving threw the factory quickly before hiding behind a support beam seeing robin fighting someone else, appearing to be an adult in age with a split in half mask. This must have been the man named Slade in his hacked database.
He watched as robin continuously attacked the man who hardly even seemed winded and was easily outmatching robin. Zer-0 shifted his footing when he saw robin get knocked down and when slade moved to strike, he lept forward, diving under slade and grabbing robin, pulling him away. Robin looked at Zer-0 in surprise. "Y-You?!" He studdered as zer-0 looked at robin with a nod, the :3 emoticon visible on his helmet now before turning into the >:3 face as he turned to slade.
"Now this is just ridiculous, what are you suppose to be?" Slade said, greatly annoyed but zer-0 didn't answer as he rushed to slade, leaping forward and knocking slade back with a well aimed kick. The two exchanged rapid close ranged blows to each other until zer-0's mask was hit hard enough to cause cracks.
Zer-0 stumbled back greatly, covering his mask/face as slade rushed him, about to hit zer-0 again when zer-0 threw his hand to the side and hit slade full force with a psy beam, scorching his right side. With a startled noise, slade was knocked back before he retreated quickly. Zer-0 shook his head and turned to robin, helping him stand.
"Why did you help me? Help us?" Robin asked as zer-0 looked at him. "Repaying a dedt that was made when we first met." Zer-0 answered. "Well. This is a big repayment then. Not only did you save me, but my team. Thank you-?" Robin trailed off slightly. "Zer-0." He answered before starting to walk away. "Well. Zer-0.if you ever need help. You can call on us at any time, okay?" Robin said tossing one of the communicators to zer-0 who caught it easily and nodded before bounding off.
