Personality: Haru is a lot like his father Jet, but also quite different. He is fun-loving, laid back, and adventure seeking. He looks up to his father and does everything he can to prove himself to his father and those older than him. However, he is also rather child-like and young at heart, so he is almost always seen with a smile and sees no reason why one should go about life in a pessimistic way. Due to this attribute, Haru struggles with doing things on his own and often avoids requests that will cause him to go off on his own; this tends to be a huge stumbling block for him. He's often stuck in a back-and-forth battle of enjoying how he naturally is and trying to prove himself as a worthy member of Fairy Tail. Despite his child-like actions, he is actually rather intuitive for someone of his age. He prides himself on his ability to read the emotions of those around him, even if they are trying to put a façade on. Haru does what he can to make sure that those he cares about are as happy as they can be; he can not stand to see someone sad or feeling dejected.
Despite his happy-go-lucky personality, Haru is rather sensitive when it comes to his actual ability. He is a tall and lanky, very much like his father, with little muscular build, so he isn't the most skilled when it comes to brute force. All he has is his speed and he takes offense when someone comments on it. Sometimes he feels like he isn't a needed member to the guild and does everything he can to prove himself. His main goal is to make his guild proud and still hasn't figured out the best way to do so.
