ondine is a 22 year old killer-whale cow.
she is of an average size for a female, and carries the sleek
black skin and white markings, just as all other blackfish. anodyne's
gender is easily determined by her short, sloping, dorsal fin, rather
than the bulls, large, erect dorsal fin. ondine has a few notches on her
dorsal fin, by which she is easily indicated. this cow has mothered two
calves, both of which are full grown, but no longer with her. they've
left her side and are off to create their own lives. ondine still has many
years to go with her, and many more calves to come.

chryses considers himself rather experienced in the game of life and tends to only want to take care of himself and himself alone. this is not to be confused for his like of company, though, and he truly enjoys swimming alongside other creatures and those of his species. he's a brave creature, knowing his size deters any ocean predator- except for that of his main prey and other bulls, of course, and he has the scars to prove each battle he's been in.

his appearance is a bit of a darker blue-gray color, and his size is a bit bigger than other bulls, stretching to sixty-three feet from head to tail. he has multiple scars on his hide and as it is with his species, has terrible eyesight, relying on echolocation to gage obstructions and other animals. his head is large and square, with a narrow lower jaw and a mouth full of teeth.

una is social, playful, and rather kind. her social-butterfly attitude can lead her into trouble, occasionally, sticking her nose somewhere dangerous or in someone else's business. she likes to be with others, only taking her alone time when there's absolutely no one around- and even then she takes it badly. her preference is to be with anyone, even if it isn't her own species, and she enjoys play and fun, with a strong dislike towards those who hate such light-hearted things.

her coat is a lighter golden-brown, with a dog-like face and flippers that make it incredibly awkward on land. her hide is clean of battle marks, and the only scar she has is one on her side from being thrown against a rock during a storm.

you could say that hush's history is tragic, and you wouldn't exactly be lying. hush was born two to three months ago, he doesn't really keep track anymore. he had a mother, and a father, plus two sisters. being the only male in his litter, he took on his father. one night, the ice in their home started melting. his mother rushed him and the rest of his family out of their home, and into the sea. the first thing they say, happened to be a pod of killer whales. his mother and father fought their best, trying to get out alive. first lost was his father. taken down by the leader of the pod, his father tried, but the killer whale was stronger. then, two of them went and killed his little sisters, one by one. hush hid, and somehow, he survived. so did his mother. at least, for a while. then, the two of them met a hostile group of sea lions. they killed his mother, and blinded him in one eye. he managed to find his way to an island, and has been grieving his family ever since.

hush is a fragile being, and also, he's very childish. he can be a bit needy, and is a bit helpless. that's most likely because of his young age. but he's also extremely emotional at times. he doesn't really deal with grief very well, but that's not his fault. he can be very quiet, and he's also not the best with words. he prefers to be silent rather than speak. he hates it when people insult him, but he won't complain because he's an extreme pushover, and doesn't like to fight him. there is another side to him, he will be angered if you hurt the ones he loves, but sadly, there's none left...

amethyst was born in a sanctuary, for sea animals. humans took great care of her, and treated her like one of the family. she never had any problem with anyone, even the humans, or the orcas in the tank with her. she loved her life, more than anything. doing shows for the little human kids, having them giggle as she jumped up and down in the tank. but, then, the water took over. endless blue. she managed to escape, but her humans, the beloved ones who had always taken care of her, died in the midst of the water.
