known for his shy and secluded ways, it's no wonder that normandy is considered the omega of the pack. this wolf is envisioned as weak, and quite easy to push around, especially now more than ever. most wolves perceive this as normandy just being his pathetic little self, but this isn't the case. the truth is, he's turning. first, the nightmares started plaguing his mind. now, he can't talk. however, the other wolves don't know; they just brush it off as the wolf being shy. it's only a matter of time before the others notice and cast him out, but normandy doesn't want to be alone.
"please don't leave me. I don't need to go, I'm fine. I promise."Part of Normandy's nervousness comes from the fact that the wolf has never been able to... well, "wolf". Though most wolves were born in a reserve, Normandy was born out in the wild, but was snatched up by some greedy poachers who decided that the latest luxury would be owning a wolf pup. So, they threw Normandy in a cage and sold him to the highest bidder, which happened to be a foul creature by the name of Aaron Fraser, a lawyer that was well renowned for his skill in the courtroom. However, what people didn't know about Mr Fraser was that he was secretly laundering money into a private account for his own secret endeavours. More specifically, Mr Fraser wanted to buy exotic animals off the black market and start his own "Emporium", where he would breed these animals and sell them off to other people to do whatever they wished to do to the animals. Eat them, provoke them to fight or just keep them as family pets, Aaron didn't care, he just wanted to buy that Black Maserati he'd been eyeing off for the past few months.
So, Normandy was shipped off to his new... "loving" owner, and was kept in actually pretty decent conditions. He got fed twice a day, only the finest meat that money could buy, and he was free to run around in Fraser's overly large yard, free to do as he pleased. However, the only problem with Fraser's living arrangements was that he was putting random animals together, with a disregard for how they lived in the wild. Because of this, Normandy's social abilities are a bit out of the ordinary, thanks to the fact that he was socialised with a few different animals; a polar bear who went by the name of Krieg, a bengal tiger named Holly, a rainbow lorikeet named Faryx, a whitetail doe named Lara and a red kangaroo named Jeff. None of the predatory creatures knew what to kill and how to do it, which meant that Lara was able to live peacefully with Normandy and the others. Normandy is able to socialise with anything but wolves, which seems to be quite amusing to the others at the best of times.
This was all well and good, until Fraser introduced another wolf, to start breeding wolf pups to sell. Her name was Vega and well... Normandy and Vega didn't get along so well. Vega had been a wild wolf, so the first thing she attempted to do was eat Lara, and pick a fight with the other creatures, and Normandy didn't like that. The self appointed guardian picked a fight with the fae and (surprisingly) won, which didn't start the pair off on good terms. This of course, made Mr Fraser very angry. After that day, Normandy's living arrangements changed from a peaceful paradise to cold cages, sloppy rations and no one to talk to bar the occasional rat Normandy shared his food with. He got used to it, though, and after a while, it wasn't so bad.
Then, the shadows came.
Normandy didn't know at first, due to the fact that he was isolated from the others. But, one of his rat friends came and informed him of the matter, and somehow, managed to break the rapidly decaying lock on Normandy's cage so that he was able to escape. The wolf fled into the nearest forest, being followed by the morphing, screaming shadows that were once his friends. He doesn't remember much of the forest, but instead, was found by a pack of wolves, who surrounded him, speaking their foreign tongue. Normandy couldn't understand what they were saying or what they wanted, and so he was captured and taken to the Alpha, who showed the male mercy, but gave him the lowest rank, Omega.
His crush on End developed not too long after, thanks to the Delta's attempts to try and teach him how to communicate with the other wolves*. He understands a few basic words like "hunt", "fight", "danger" and his own name, but not much else. However, the constant reminder of how pathetic he is tends to plague the Omega's mind, so he's attempting to distance himself from the beautiful fae.
Well, there's that fact, and the fact that he's turning. Slowly, and painfully.
* If AnnaROUaT isn't okay with this, I'm quite happy to change it.
