Once upon a time Scarlet Witch. made a Mysterious Island, and that Mysterious Island started plucking characters from their own dimensions. Perhaps the madness started when the characters broke into sassy squads - no, we were still redeemable at that point. The Evil characters went one way, the archers went another way, there was a 1900s squad out there somewhere...Then Demonic Omen suggested bringing fanchildren onto the island, and it was so, and the fanchildren knew everything about everyone, and they thoroughly disturbed everyone on the island.
Then it happened: the gradual picking apart, no, the
blasting to smithereens of every canon ship in sight.
It started with Milor, a she-pirate bashing into an Asgardian and noticing how muscly he was. One thing led to the next, and the ship was born. More ships started popping up, as canon was slowly blown to pieces bit by bit. Jelena, Rucille, Sanzco, Wall...even ships with characters from the same universe were no longer canon. When Age of Ultron came out, Clintasha became null and void
Hulk smash Clintasha but our insanity wouldn't allow us to accept that - once again, we ignored canon.
Headcanon became our only canon.
On April 13th, Scarlet came up with the idea for a mirror island.
Exactly 2 days later, Skip decides the Mysterious island's name is Richard.
April 26, Warren.Skip.Muck had the lovely idea TO SWITCH EVERYONE'S FREAKING POWERS
This turned into swapping powers AND costumes
and eventually evolved into an all-out body-swapping chaos.
May 7, Scarlet comes up with a WILD WEST IDEA
On the same day, she also conjures up the TITANIC IDEA, which Demonic Omen dubs PAUL.
Somewhere along the road, SwiftShadowwolf asked what the children of these headcanon ships would look like,
we indulged in the activity,
and it eventually turned into an ENTIRE ISLAND OF MAGICAL BRATS!
