Not exactly but exactly. Right now, Niflheim is beneath the ground.......or at least the part that moves it is. When time comes for its true power to be unleashed, it will stop and rise up from the ground, taking on a form similar to a tree. There will be seven different levels, each lending power to the eighth. The firing mechanism itself stands on a ninth level. This form will draw its inspiration from Yggdrasil, the tree that consists of all nine realms in Norse Mythos. If it ever fires, it will unleash a beam of energy capable of leveling mountains. However, it does take time to charge.......a lengthy amount of time. One shot every month that levels all within a 500 meter radius. This is the weapon to wipe the slate clean.

There are eight devices creating a shield around the firing mechanism. Each device is magically linked to one of the Sins, meaning one must defeat them to be able to destroy the devices. The first is linked to Yangyin's sin of sorrow, meaning defeating him will enable one to destroy the first device(ten guesses as to why his was placed on the bottom of the totem pole and the first eight don't count). Pride will be on the eighth level while Sin shall be at the very top. Right when people think victory is theirs upon defeating Pride, Yangyin will have wandered off in a trance-like state. When they find him on the ninth level, the Organic Link Magic will come undone before their eyes and Sin shall stand before them. Very cinematic if you ask me.
