Salem is one the "favored" children of Nyx, much to her disgruntlement. Her father was a high ranking official in a banking firm, and was often traveling, leaving the free spirited girl to her own devices. Those devices often ended up being going for nightly walks in the woods that only ended with her showing back up when the sun began to rise. Unlike some of the others, her powers manifested at the tender young age of eleven. As a result, she became accustomed to being able to go anywhere during her nights. She was the one who discovered the magic forbidding shadow travel out of the island. It took a few times, but eventually she accepted that every attempt was just going to give her violent nausea and end in her being thrown against a tree.

Salem has never had the easiest time making friends, and so has almost completely given up on the attempt. She holds everyone at an arms length, and often drives them even further away with her sporadic fits of rage and agression. She has perfected her appearance of a snotty rich kid, and actively encourages others to think of her as nothing other than the brat who's surprisingly good at handling herself in a fight. She isn't one to confront people right out, preferring to sit back and manipulate what she can from the shadows.

fah is an introvert through and through,

Adam Ludwig a the strong, dependable demigod with an easy-going smile and determined look in his eye.. The eighteen-year-old was born to the embodiment of the Earth, Gaea, and Samuel Ludwig. Adam spent the majority of his life thinking that his mother had died during childbirth. He wasn't pleased with this explanation, though he was satisfied with it. It was better than assuming that his mother had taken off. When he found the identity of his mother, he almost checked himself into a mental institution and would have if his father had not stopped him. He began researching and learning more about her, desperate to understand where he came from and who he really was. He seldom uses his abilities, though he had found that he is quite capable with them. Adam, however, is a serious, self-ethical person who only believes in using his abilities if absolutely necessary. He had mastered control and encourages others to do the same.

Adam can easily be identified as the kind, dark-haired boy who spends too much time worrying. He isn't the dark and brooding type. In fact, he is quite happy and outgoing. However, he does spend a lot of time in his own head, thinking about the world around him. His thoughts stretch to a deep, abstract spectrum that most refuse to venture to. He isn't sure why, but he finds himself trapped in his own thoughts from time to time, which can lead to him being depressed for periods of time. She tries to shake this off, for he hates giving off bad vibes. He cares deeply about other people and is considered to be quite selfless. He will give up just about anything when it comes to his own well-being if it can help someone else. That being said, he can be considered reckless and impulsive when it comes to decisions involving his own life, though he defines it as bravery and nothing more. He is kind and sensitive, being a frequent shoulder to cry on for his fellow demigods. He is fiercely protective, trustworthy, and dependable. You can count on him for anything. No matter how angry he is at you, he'll be there if you need him.

Of course, given her linage, she is quite capable in a fight and her strength is shocking, but he would much rather spend her time doing something else, something kinder. According to most, it is a naive wish, but a wish all the same. She is a very charitable soul who wants nothing more than to give back, but don't let that fool you. As kind and sweet as she is, she is very likely to lose control over her emotions and turn violent. Her feelings get hurt easily and her emotions dictate most of her actions. If you upset her too much, she won't hesitate to punch you into next week. Then she'll cry from the guilt.

Mia is, perhaps, a bit too trusting for her own good. She places her faith in anyone with a gentle smile and always gives people the benefit of the doubt. She had been betrayed several times and she is very good at holding a grudge. Despite this, she never seems to learn her lesson. Mia has the excellent habit of brightening up anyone's day with her talkative, positive attitude. She can easily turn you ranting into a discussion about how cool your hair is. She is also very good with children and is known to make friends with the younger demigods. She doesn't earn much respect from the older kids, but it is nearly impossible to hate her. She's just too nice. She manages to give off the damsel in distress vibe, which leads most people to feel protective over her. She'd be lying if she said she didn't like the attention. In closing, Mia is truly a child at heart.
